Wat is de hersteltijd van een haartransplantatie?

Zijn haarbehandelingen veilig voor alle haartypes?

Nee. Als je droog, oververwerkt of beschadigd haar hebt, wil je misschien behandelingen vermijden die de gezondheid van je haar kunnen verslechteren of je hoofdhuid kunnen irriteren. Vraag je kapper om advies over de behandelingen die het beste bij je passen.

Zijn er bijwerkingen of risico's verbonden aan haartransplantatiechirurgie?

Ja, u heeft waarschijnlijk littekens in het gebied/de gebieden waar uw transplantaat/transplantaten is/zijn genomen. Je hoofdhuid kan een paar dagen na je transplantatie pijnlijk worden en opzwellen en je zult waarschijnlijk wat korstjes krijgen. Er is ook een risico op bloedingen, infecties en een allergische reactie op het verdovingsmiddel.

Wat kan ik verwachten tijdens een afspraak voor een haarbehandeling?

Wat je kapper tijdens een behandeling doet, wordt bepaald door de behandeling die je kiest. Uw behandeling kan worden uitgevoerd op gewassen, ongewassen, nat of droog haar. Vraag je stylist voordat je je afspraak boekt wat er bij het proces komt kijken en hoe lang het waarschijnlijk zal duren. Het aanbrengen van een detox-behandeling duurt enkele minuten, het tonifiëren van het haar kan tussen de 5-20 minuten duren, hete olie en hydraterende behandelingen duren ongeveer 20 minuten, glossen duurt waarschijnlijk tussen de 30 en 40 minuten en je moet 1-2 uur wachten als je je haar ontspannen hebt, en 1-3 uur als je bent geboekt voor een keratinebehandeling.

Hoe vaak moeten haarbehandelingen worden uitgevoerd?

Het hangt grotendeels af van de behandeling. Je kunt tot 3 keer per jaar keratinebehandelingen ondergaan, 3-4 keer per jaar ontspannende behandelingen en eens in de 6-8 weken haarversteviging. Je kunt genieten van hoofdhuidbehandelingen om de 2-4 weken, detox- en hete oliebehandelingen om de 1-2 weken en hydraterende behandelingen eenmaal per week of meer.

Hoe werkt de haartransplantatieprocedure?

Je zult tijdens de procedure wakker zijn, maar je zult waarschijnlijk verdoofd worden en een lokale verdoving krijgen om ervoor te zorgen dat je geen pijn voelt. Je krijgt dan ofwel een folliculaire eenheidstransplantatie (fut) of een folliculaire eenheidsextractie (FUE).

Tijdens fut verwijdert uw arts een dunne strook huid met haar erop van de achterkant van uw hoofd, snijdt deze in haartransplantaten (stukjes huid met 1-4 haren) en plaatst deze in incisies waar u wilt dat uw haar groeit. Het gebied waaruit de huid is gestript, wordt gestikt om de genezing te bevorderen, maar je blijft waarschijnlijk achter met een dun litteken. Als u kiest voor FUE, wordt de achterkant van uw hoofd geschoren, worden enten van enkele haren verwijderd en in incisies in uw hoofdhuid geplaatst. Je blijft achter met kleine littekens waar de haren zijn verwijderd. Haartransplantaties duren meestal een dag en het kan zijn dat je meer dan één sessie nodig hebt als een groot gebied wordt behandeld. Je zou binnen de eerste zes maanden nieuw haar moeten zien verschijnen.

Wat zijn de voordelen van haarbehandelingen?

Sommige voordelen zijn alleen esthetisch, maar als je haar dof, droog of beschadigd is, kan het baat hebben bij een detox- of hete oliebehandeling. Hoofdhuid-, detox- en vochtinbrengende behandelingen kunnen de gezondheid van je haar helpen verbeteren.
