Wat is een föhn en hoe werkt het?

Een föhn is een föhnmethode die een handföhn gebruikt om de verdamping van water uit de natte lokken van het oppervlak van je haar te versnellen. Het wordt vaak gebruikt om haar te stylen. Je kunt je haar thuis föhnen, maar er gaat niets boven een professionele föhn.

Hoe bereid ik mijn haar voor op een föhn?

Wacht tot je haar voor minstens 80% droog is voordat je het gaat föhnen en bereid het eerst voor met een hittebeschermer. Gebruik een volumegevende hittebeschermer als je haar fijn is, een gladmakende als je haar gevoelig is voor kroezen en een leave-in conditioner als je haar krullend is. Je moet ook eventuele knopen ontwarren en je haar afsnijden met clips voordat je begint met föhnen.

Kan ik mijn haar elke dag föhnen?

We zouden het niet aanraden. Warmte is schadelijk voor het haar, dus dagelijks gebruik van een verwarmde stylingtool zoals een föhn zal waarschijnlijk de natuurlijke oliën van je haar strippen, de nagelriem drogen en kroezen en breuk veroorzaken.

Hoeveel kost een föhn?

De kosten zijn afhankelijk van de salon die je kiest en het ervaringsniveau van RB8 je stylist, maar in betaal je waarschijnlijk tussen AED 50 en AED 350.

Hoe lang duurt een föhn?

De tijd die nodig is om droog haar te föhnen, hangt af van de lengte, het type, de textuur en de stijl die je wilt bereiken. Als je kort haar hebt, kan het in ongeveer 5-10 minuten worden geföhnd; langer haar duurt ongeveer 15-30 minuten.

Idealiter. Tenzij je stylist het voor je doet. Vet haar kan het haar plat maken, dus het is het beste om een föhn te hebben nadat je haar vers is gewassen.
