Volwassen lokken kunnen regelmatig worden gewassen, geconditioneerd en gehydrateerd om de gezondheid van het haar te behouden en uitdroging en breuk te voorkomen. Je moet ook je hoofdhuid hydrateren (bij voorkeur met een natuurlijke, plantaardige olie). En droog je lokken grondig na het wassen, door het overtollige water sectie voor sectie uit te persen en ze in een microvezeldoek te wikkelen om te drogen. Vermijd het föhnen van je lokken, die je haar kunnen beschadigen.
