Kunnen diepe weefselmassages schade veroorzaken?

U moet met uw arts praten voordat u een diepe weefselmassage ondergaat als:

u lijdt aan zenuwbeschadiging

Waarom doen diepe weefselmassages de volgende dag pijn?

De reden dat een diepe weefselmassage aanhoudende pijn en ongemak kan achterlaten, is omdat ze intense fysieke druk op je lichaam met zich meebrengen. Het is volkomen normaal dat de pijn een dag of zelfs twee of drie aanhoudt!

Waarom voel ik me ziek na een diepe weefselmassage

Een licht misselijk of duizelig gevoel na een massage, met name een diepe weefselmassage die intense druk op je lichaam met zich meebrengt, komt vrij vaak voor. Het is normaal gesproken het gevolg van uitdroging - een diepe weefselmassage geeft gifstoffen vrij uit je lymfestelsel die zich onder je huid ophopen. De beste manier om dit te verhelpen en die gifstoffen weg te spoelen is om gehydrateerd te blijven, dus zorg ervoor dat je voor je massage regelmatig een beetje water drinkt en daarna grondig hydrateert! Onthoud

echter dat als u na uw behandeling ernstig ongemak, pijn of ziekte voelt, u met een zorgverlener moet praten.

Wat gebeurt er als je een deep tissue massage krijgt?

Wanneer je een diepe weefselmassage krijgt, zal je therapeut vragen op welk deel van je lichaam je wilt dat ze zich concentreren. Er is geen standaardmethode - de behandeling moet worden afgestemd op uw specifieke behoeften, maar alle therapeuten hebben ook hun eigen individuele stijlen.

Je wordt gevraagd om op de massagetafel te liggen, op je voorkant, achterkant of zijkant, afhankelijk van het gebied dat wordt gemasseerd. Je therapeut kan eerst licht beginnen met het opwarmen van je spieren, voordat hij verder gaat met de aandachtsgebieden.

Dit houdt in dat er langzaam diepe druk wordt uitgeoefend met handen, armen en ellebogen om uw samengetrokken spieren en weefsels vrij te maken. De tijd die nodig is om de behandeling te voltooien kan variëren, maar het zal normaal gesproken tussen de één en twee uur zijn.

Hoe pijnlijk is een deep tissue massage?

Het is normaal om na een diepe weefselmassage wat pijn te voelen, omdat ze behoorlijk intens kunnen zijn. Zie het als dezelfde soort pijn die je krijgt na een zware training! De behandeling zelf houdt in dat er hoge druk op je lichaam wordt uitgeoefend en er kan enig ongemak zijn - als het te veel wordt, kun je dit altijd aan je therapeut laten weten. Het is

echter belangrijk om op te merken dat hoewel pijn vaak voorkomt, je na de massage geen extreme pijn zou moeten voelen. Als dit het geval is, moet je dit ook aan je therapeut en je arts vertellen.

Wat moet je niet doen tijdens een massage?

Massage-etiquette is een ding - en het is belangrijk voor zowel jou als je therapeut. Wanneer je een behandeling ondergaat, moet je niet:

de grenzen van je therapeuten niet respecteren
te laat komen en je fulltime verwachten
je verkleden terwijl je therapeut nog in de kamer is
overmatig lawaai maken

Hoe bereid je je voor op een deep tissue massage?

Om je voor te bereiden op je diepe weefselmassage, is een van de belangrijkste dingen om te voorkomen dat je voor de behandeling een zware maaltijd eet of veel vloeistoffen drinkt. Een diepe weefselmassage houdt in dat er intense druk op je lichaam wordt uitgeoefend, wat ongemakkelijk kan zijn op een volle maag.

Anders moet je jezelf in een ontspannen gemoedstoestand en lichaam brengen, zodat de massage zo effectief mogelijk kan zijn. Probeer vroeg aan te komen, zodat je jezelf kunt ontspannen voordat je massage begint.
