Hoe bereid je je voor op een deep tissue massage?

Om je voor te bereiden op je diepe weefselmassage, is een van de belangrijkste dingen om te voorkomen dat je voor de behandeling een zware maaltijd eet of veel vloeistoffen drinkt. Een diepe weefselmassage houdt in dat er intense druk op je lichaam wordt uitgeoefend, wat ongemakkelijk kan zijn op een volle maag.

Anders moet je jezelf in een ontspannen gemoedstoestand en lichaam brengen, zodat de massage zo effectief mogelijk kan zijn. Probeer vroeg aan te komen, zodat je jezelf kunt ontspannen voordat je massage begint.

Waarom voel ik me ziek na een diepe weefselmassage

Een licht misselijk of duizelig gevoel na een massage, met name een diepe weefselmassage die intense druk op je lichaam met zich meebrengt, komt vrij vaak voor. Het is normaal gesproken het gevolg van uitdroging - een diepe weefselmassage geeft gifstoffen vrij uit je lymfestelsel die zich onder je huid ophopen. De beste manier om dit te verhelpen en die gifstoffen weg te spoelen is om gehydrateerd te blijven, dus zorg ervoor dat je voor je massage regelmatig een beetje water drinkt en daarna grondig hydrateert! Wat moet ik doen na een deep tissue massage?

Rust: Na een intense massagesessie die is ontworpen om je geest en lichaam te ontspannen, is het het beste om jezelf te helpen ontspannen te blijven. Probeer ten minste 24 uur te wachten voor een intense fysieke activiteit

neem een bad: niets helpt het ontspanningsproces zo als een warm bad - en als je het voelt, trakteer jezelf dan op wat bubbels of een badbom om jezelf echt te verwennen. Je moet echter een warm bad of douche vermijden, omdat dit de ontsteking kan verergeren. Als je een blessure hebt, dan is het beter om een koude douche of bad te nemen om de pijn te verlichten.

Kunnen diepe weefselmassages schade veroorzaken?

U moet met uw arts praten voordat u een diepe weefselmassage ondergaat als:

u bloedverdunners gebruikt of een stollings- of bloedingsstoornis heeft
u een behandeling ondergaat voor een recente operatie of chemotherapie
u lijdt aan zenuwbeschadiging
u huidaandoeningen heeft
u wonden heeft die niet volledig zijn genezen
u een hernia heeft

Hoe vaak moet je een deep tissue massage krijgen?

Er zijn geen harde en snelle regels over hoe vaak je een diepe weefselmassage moet krijgen - het gaat meer om wat goed voor je voelt en wat de meeste voordelen biedt. Dit kan dagelijks zijn, een paar keer per week, elke maand - wat je maar prettig vindt.

Vergeet niet dat je je therapeut altijd kunt vragen om een behandelplan aan te bevelen, omdat hun expertise betekent dat ze weten hoe ze de onderliggende problemen kunnen aanpakken waar je mogelijk last van hebt.

Breekt een diepe weefselmassage vet af?

Diepe weefselmassages bieden een scala aan voordelen, van een verbeterde bloedsomloop en bloeddruk tot een betere slaap en een gezondere geest. Er is momenteel echter zeer weinig bewijs om diepe weefselmassages rechtstreeks te koppelen aan de afbraak van vet.

Dat betekent niet dat een diepe weefselmassage, of enige vorm van massage, niet kan worden gebruikt als onderdeel van een goed afgeronde benadering van gewichtsverlies. Als je je er zowel mentaal als fysiek beter door voelt, kan dat alleen maar helpen!

Hoe pijnlijk is een deep tissue massage?

Het is normaal om na een diepe weefselmassage wat pijn te voelen, omdat ze behoorlijk intens kunnen zijn. Zie het als dezelfde soort pijn die je krijgt na een zware training! De behandeling zelf houdt in dat er hoge druk op je lichaam wordt uitgeoefend en er kan enig ongemak zijn - als het te veel wordt, kun je dit altijd aan je therapeut laten weten. Het is

echter belangrijk om op te merken dat hoewel pijn vaak voorkomt, je na de massage geen extreme pijn zou moeten voelen. Als dit het geval is, moet je dit ook aan je therapeut en je arts vertellen.
