This is my go-to hair salon. As a guy with weird curly hair, this is the only salon I went to that I genuinely loved my haircut afterwards which makes me comeback even if I just need a quick trim. The staff is amazing and made me feel genuinely cared for. From the hair shampoo, quick back massage, and the awesome haircut, everything was perfect. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Christopher is amazing! I asked for a shaping trim and got exactly that including lots of great advice for hair health. Plus he is very easy to be with and a lovely person. I can't wait to come back, as my hair grows and any time at all. <3

The salon is clean, cute, tidy, and has a warm, welcoming vibe. I was treated with care and professionalism. Mina did an excellent job on my blunt bang trim, patiently cutting until the shape was just right. The salon is conveniently located near subways, eateries, Gramcery Park & Union Square should you want to grab coffee or a meal before or after your visit.

Wonderful service for my whole family! Everyone was so kind. No rushing, no upsetting. Just courteous and attentive service. I got a full head of highlights and a trim and blowout; my daughters got trims and blowouts. Reasonable prices and worth it yo all be seen at once!

This salon by far is the best one I have seen in New York City. It is really clean and all the staff are super friendly. Tina is our hair dresser who takes care of our family. She is wonderful. I wish them all the best.

It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!

I found this salon because of all the incredible reviews, and I have to pay it forward because they truly deserve them. From my first call, Beata made me feel I had found the right place. She is so friendly and welcoming, and she gave me the best shampoo with a wonderful scalp massage. Fatih then finished my conditioner and combed my hair while making me laugh so much that I was completely relaxed by the time of my haircut. Onur is both a kind person and a talented artist. Sitting in his chair made me understand why the whole team is so warm and thoughtful. I felt completely taken care of.
