I booked a haircut with Alex. He is so kind, patient, and gentle. I have a really sensitive scalp and I felt like I was going to fall asleep the whole time because I felt so relaxed. I was able to show Alex the haircut I wanted and he did exactly what I wanted. Alex also showed me how to blow dry my hair so that I could do it at home. Overall, the whole staff is wonderful and I am so happy with the haircut and service I received from Alex and the team! Thank you so much!

Really happy with the haircut - not happy they started 40 mins past appointment time. They did try to make it up by giving me a treatment while I waited and small discount, which was appreciated.

It was a splendid experience at the pure self salon and spa. My stylist Priya worked meticulously on every piece of hair and carefully cut sections giving it Life and bounce. Her signature blowouts stole the show away giving the finish that was beyond my expectations. She is an excellent hair stylist and I will definitely recommend all my friends to come here to get their haircuts. I already started getting compliments the moment I got in a cab on my way home :) Priya, you are a genius. Keep up the good work!

I travel from Ottawa to Markham every couple of months and was in need of a haircut so I booked an appointment with Sophia. Being East Indian, my hair is thick and curly. Sophia was very busy on that Friday but she took her time and gave an excellent cut, with just the right amount of layers and texturing. I was very impressed and will be going back, and this time will also take my daughter for a cut. Also want to mention, the receptionist Misha was great and the salon is very clean, truly a professional place with affordable pricing too.
