Wat is cupping therapie?

Tijdens cupping-therapie plaatst een arts speciale cups op uw huid om zuigkracht te creëren; dit trekt het weefsel onder de cups naar boven en verhoogt de bloedtoevoer naar het gebied. Van Cupping wordt gedacht dat het onzuiverheden helpt verwijderen, genezing vergemakkelijkt en de energiestroom van het lichaam verbetert. Je kunt kiezen voor droge cupping (die we hierboven hebben beschreven) of natte cupping, waarbij je je huid met steriele naalden doorboort, zodat bloed fysiek wordt afgezogen via het zuigproces.

Hoeveel kost cupping therapie?

Als je bij een ervaren arts reserveert, kun je verwachten dat je tussen $35 en $165 voor je cupping-behandeling betaalt.

Hoe vaak moet ik gaan voor een cupping-therapiesessie?

Het hangt af van je doel en de aandoening die je wilt behandelen. U kunt in eerste instantie worden geadviseerd om elke 1-2 weken een afspraak te maken, maar vraag uw arts – zij zijn het best geplaatst om u te adviseren over de sessiefrequentie op basis van uw lichaam en de behoeften ervan. Voor algemeen welzijn kun je eenmaal per maand cupping-therapie krijgen. Je moet ten minste een week tussen de afspraken laten.

Wat komt er uit je lichaam als je cupt?

Cupping is gericht op het elimineren van gifstoffen en het opruimen van blokkades in de energiestroom van je lichaam. Je zult dit waarschijnlijk fysieker zien als je voor natte cupping kiest, een proces dat de huid met naalden doorboort en de cups aanbrengt om bloed af te voeren. Er wordt gedacht dat natte cupping de nieren kan helpen zware metalen uit je lichaam te verwijderen.

Hoe lang gaat cupping op je lichaam mee?

Omdat de zuigkracht die door cupping ontstaat bloed naar het huidoppervlak trekt, zul je waarschijnlijk wat verkleuring of blauwe plekken ervaren. Het duurt een paar uur tot twee weken voordat deze volledig zijn verdwenen. Je kunt de vlekken sneller wegwerken door water te drinken en te rusten.

Studies hebben aangetoond dat cupping de bloed- en lymfecirculatie naar de huid kan verbeteren en ontstekingen kan verminderen.
