Stella handled my care with so much care, I was consulted at every step and my afro has been trimmed to perfection. I also left with a wealth of knowledge about the best ways to look after my hair going forward. I am so grateful for the service I received today and will be back soon! Loving my new stylist’s work on my hair. Jennifer is clearly passionate about hair and has a wealth of knowledge and advice for working with natural Afro hair. She’s definitely a keeper👌 The one thing that let the experience down is the hygiene within the salon; Jennifer should look to renting a space that pays attention to hygiene. Gown dirty, not enough fresh towels visible. Looking around at the tools used wasn’t appealing, the salon needs a thorough deep cleanse and the toilet needs to be demolished and replaced…that sink….no water…hand soap or towel… seriously, shame on the owner🤢

Kishan was amazing, really friendly and great chat I can’t recommend him enough. It was my first time cutting my hair with Kishan and honestly it was one of the best experiences I’ve had as he understands my hair type and what works best for me. I love going to Rust & Roots and getting my hair cut and styled by the lovely Nora. I come in twice to three times a year to get my hair cut: layers re-shaped and sometimes a cheeky curtain bang comes back. Nora always looks after my hair so well, and I have always trusted her vision for my hair. The environment and energy at Rust & Roots is always so fun to be in. They have updated the interior design since I last visited, and it looks great! 10/10 recommend
