We raden altijd aan om een professionele nagelstylist te vragen om je acrylnagels voor je te verwijderen, maar als je van plan bent om ze zelf te verwijderen, volg dan deze stappen om schade aan je natuurlijke nagels te minimaliseren

Vijl zoveel mogelijk van de acrylnagel af met een grove nagelvijl van 100 korrel. Zorg er wel voor dat je niet naar je natuurlijke nagel gaat.
Week 10 wattenbolletjes in 100% aceton, breng er 5 aan op je nagels en bevestig ze op hun plaats door een strook folie om elke vingertop te wikkelen. Laat ze 20 minuten intrekken, verwijder ze dan en herhaal dit aan de andere kant.

Neem een houten nagelriemstokje en duw zachtjes het acryl en lijm je nagel eraf. Verwijder eventuele resten met een zachte nagelbuffer van schuim en hydrateer je nagels met een natuurlijke olie, zoals jojoba.

Hoe lang gaan acrylverf zonder vullingen mee?

Je zult binnen 2-3 weken een gebied met hergroei zien. Dan wil je ze waarschijnlijk vullen.

Waarom doen acrylnagels pijn?

Acrylnagels kunnen samentrekken en strakker worden na het aanbrengen en dit kan ongemak veroorzaken; het mag echter niet langer dan 24 uur duren. Als je daarna pijn ervaart, kan dit een teken van schade of infectie zijn, vooral als je nagels te laag zijn gevijld of je nagelriemen te ver naar achteren zijn geduwd vóór het aanbrengen. Om infectie, schade en ongemak te voorkomen, raden we altijd aan om je acrylnagels door een ervaren nageltechnicus te laten aanbrengen, vullen en verwijderen.
