My experience was wonderful, I had a very relaxed and stress relieving massage and facial followed by a delicious lunch. I was able to lounge around and use the spa facilities afterwards. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful solo spa day! The spa reception was very welcoming and offered lots of information the treatment relax and renew was amazing! Floated out! Loved the variety of rooms in the health spa and the jacuzzi was large too. Warm scones served with the cream tea yum! I would just encourage a little modernisation around the pool area it was looking a little tired. All in all a wonderful day thank you so much. I will definitely be coming back!

Treatments were first class. Spa facilities good. Would prefer not to have to walk to the hotel for lunch, it would be much better provided in the lounge of the spa

Fabulous Spa day. My friend and myself came on the January Spa day. All staff extremely helpful especially the lady on reception (sorry i don't know her name) I left my key in the treatment room for my locker and she sorted it for me. We had a neck, scalp and shoulder massage and it was the best I've had. It's been at least 5 years since I've been to the Spa and i thoroughly enjoyed it. It won't be another 5 years till I come back again. Perfect in every way

I just had the loveliest day at Cloisters spa: I had received a voucher for a 'Serene escape' and was treated with a great massage, and lovely service all around. 10/10!

Very relaxing spa day. Good range of spa options (4 sauna/steam & a big jacuzzi). Staff all very friendly. Feels a bit in need of TLC - sauna door didnt shut tight, of the 3 men's showers 1 didn't work & 1 the light was out. The staff were lovely albeit were clearly covering as didnt know about the treatments.

I spent the day with two friends at the parsonage spa. Honestly, it’s just lovely. From the warm welcome on arrival, to the gorgeous lunch, loads of choice and the food is delicious with good sized portions. The pool and wet spa facilities are great. Clean and with lots of loungers to relax on. There are four different steam & sauna rooms and a large spa pool. I had a ‘relax and renew’ treatment with Lucy. Lucy was careful to ask about my preferred strength of massage and any target areas. It was just perfect! Highly recommend! Special thanks to Lucy! 😊

I had a fantastic day at The Cloisters Spa. The facilities were great. I particularly enjoyed the salt inhalation room and sauna. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The relaxation room was a little dated but comfortable and quiet. Lunch was provided at The Parsonage hotel next door and I was really pleased at the vegan options available. I had the Renew and Relax treatment with Taylor. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Taylor was very attentive. She targeted some problem areas during the massage, and the facial was very relaxing. I will be returning and recommending to friends.

The back, neck and shoulder massage by Sylvia was fantastic! The spa has great facilities and a swimming pool as well as a range of different rooms to use: steam room, sauna, aromatherapy room, and a salt room.

The spa facilities are great value. A choice of four steam/ sauna experiences plus the jacuzzi and a decent sized pool. Everything was clean and plenty of space in the changing rooms. A great birthday treat.

Planned a once a spa day with a friend as a return visit. We found that some of the spa areas are looking a bit tired. Always love the choice of steam/sauna rooms. Treatment was fantastic with Katie. Lunch we weren’t told about needing to go to hotel so sat and waited in reception room until we had to go and ask. Once at hotel had to wait 15 mins for our lunch despite preordering and food that arrived was wrong. Quickly fixed though.

The beauty treatment I opted for relax and renew' was great, the therapist did a wonderful job and I came out feeling very relaxed. However the spa itself is quite 'tired' and the sauna wasn't working.

Enjoyed the taster relaxation experience at Cloisters spa. We arrived in the morning and had a swim in the pool. Nice sauna and steam room disappointed that the Jacuzzi wasn’t working. The sun beds are low for anyone with mobility problems and only one working hairdryer. I had a facial which was lovely and would recommend it.

Absolutely luv this place such a nice spa the lovely pool and 4 nice rooms aromatherapy, steam, sauna and salt … very clean , not overly crowded, good changing facilities, fluffy robes , and beautiful treatment rooms with the loveliest off staff …. travelled from Durham for this short break and would definitely recommend it … most definitely be visiting again 😊

Amazing! This was our first visit to the spa and it was brilliant.

We enjoyed some time in the pool and facilities, but found it a bit too hot to fully relax, instead taking advantage of the September sunshine in the beer garden of the Fat Abbot! HOWEVER, we returned later for our scheduled treatments and were both given excellent care and attention. I enjoyed a Relax and Renew massage/facial with Lucy, and my OH had a Full Body Deep Tissue massage, which he reported as being thorough and beneficial. Staff at the Cloisters Spa were friendly, approachable and helpful. Hopefully we may return in the future, and definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

Wonderful venue. Relaxed atmosphere. There was a balance of male and female attendees on the day which made me - as a male who had never been fo a spa before - feel much less self conscious (even though I attended with 3 friends; 2 female; 1 male).

The spa was lovely the treatment was very enjoyable and afternoon tea was fantastic, but the attitude of some staff wasn't great. We wasn't told what time to actually arrive
