I just had the loveliest day at Cloisters spa: I had received a voucher for a 'Serene escape' and was treated with a great massage, and lovely service all around. 10/10!

As good a massage as we have had anywhere. Well done girls. The spa beforehand was great. Loved the fact it was quiet (no kids) and the facilities first class. Will be back.

The overall treatment was really lovely. As the treatment rooms are next to reception it was often quite loud with people talking. The lunch was great but walking in the rain in robes to the main hotel (in flip flops) isn’t ideal especially walking past the kitchens seeing behind the scenes abs a chef coughing up a lung Swimming are lovely but looking a little old with rusty walls and the gym has old equipment Lastly no one answers the phone in the spa, tried 7 times over 5 occasions, had to resort to calling the hotel and get put through Some great potential here and loved my treatment

Absolutely fabulous staff! Loved the treatments. Really clean and tidy every where. Two negatives…. Changing rooms far to hot and no food or drink available even in the lounge area of the spa that would have just topped of our time at the spa.

I booked for the serene escape with the relax and renew treatment. The treatment was amazing and was great if you want to have multiple areas massaged, especially as It incorporated a facial as well. Then full use of the facilities, robe, towel, slippers and lunch was also included which was incredible!! I will definitely be going again! Also I had a vegan option for lunch, I just told Gary on the spa desk as then the hotel kitchen made me a vegan cheese and pickle sandwich which was great! I couldn’t have asked for a better spa day :)

I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

Booking was easy. Confirmation & reminders received. Communication was very good. Booking in was seemless with a very friendly receptionist. We booked a chill day so didn't have a treatment but we did have lunch in the hotel which was lovely, reasonably priced & a very good portion, however we ordered a glass of coke but only got half a glass, no idea what happened there. The facilities are great, a bigger than average swimming pool you find in spa, 4 therapy rooms & a huge spa pool, plenty of beds to chill on. Only downside was the changing room needed cleaning & had broken lockers.

Had a fantastic day at the spa. Me and my mum did the mother and daughter experience and we had a wonderful day. Food was excellent and the treatments from Beth and Katie were fantastic! We had the massage and facial which were both really enjoyed! I would highly recommend this spa. And we will definitely return again!

We came as a Hen party over the weekend on a two night spa break. I had the revive and renew treatment with Taylor. She was so lovely and very professional. I would highly recommend to anyone who fancies a treat to book in for a treatment. Thank you Taylor. Gary on the reception was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. The spa was clean and very relaxing.

My spa day was a birthday treat. The whole day was fabulous due to the very helpful staff. A special thank you to Abbie, my treatment therapist, who was amazing and Elaine in hospitality who provided that added touch of making the day feel special.

This was my 8th visit with the overnight indulgence. Overall it was good. However, being asked to pay £2 for slippers knocked an edge off the feeling of ‘indulgence’. If you had added £2 to the price of the package and included slippers, this would have felt better overall and I don’t think guests would have minded. You don’t want to be trying to conjure up £2 when you are heading into a spa with your costume etc. The ladies toilets were out of order and we had to walk barefoot back thru reception which was not very hygienic. Treatment was good. Pool area roof needs attention. We will be back

Really relaxing time. All facilities nice and clean. Lovely warm spa area. Friendly staff and helpful staff. Pool lounges a bit too low hard to get on and up/off, especially for clientele that generally look over 60. !! Would recommend and certainly will be back for another spa experience
