I absolutely love coming to Base Coat for all my pampering, hair, nails and feet. The friendliest salon I have ever been too. The ladies that work there from the front desk, to the hairdresser, and her assistant, and the nail techs. I just want to thank you all for making me feel so welcome. Owethu is the best tech out there. She does an awesome job and I have never come away disappointed. Just to let you know, I live in Canada and have been doing this pampering stuff for a long time and in all that time I have never had this type of experience. Thank you ladies, See you next year. 😊

I think Basecoat in Melkbos only hires the kindest people on the planet. Eloma has helped rescue my nails and they are finally healthy again and growing beautifully. She is gentle caring and amazing at what she does. Everyone in the salon is so lovely it feels like walking into a bubble of kindness with perfect nails as a bonus 💅✨

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for 5 years, and I still absolutely love it! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is amazing. My nail tech is the best – we talk and laugh for the whole 2 hours, and I always leave feeling refreshed and happy. The whole team makes you feel so special, like part of the family. The service is consistently top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and fun. I always recommend this place to everyone I know – it’s my happy place and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I had a nail emergency and this professional Salon was able to accommodate me earlier than my scheduled appointment. What awesome service! Then the lovely Misché could give me some professional advice on how to change the way I have my nails done and proceeded to give me a beautiful new set of hard gel nails to serve me better. All round a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

She did a great job on my brows, and I especially loved the relaxing massage during the treatment — such a lovely touch! I will definitely be going back again and highly recommend her.
