I recently relocated from Washington, DC and was VERY nervous about trying out a new salon, here, in Harrisburg, PA. To my surprise, I got one of the BEST haircuts I’ve ever had in my 32 years of life. I will definitely be recommending John to the people I know and I will also be a regular client of John’s moving forward!

Awesome haircut and great conversation with the stylist. I didn't feel rush during the appointment and came out with a great haircut and style. I would definitely recommend and plenty of parking out front.

I have been staying in the area with family for a few weeks and needed a haircut. I must say I am beyond thrilled to find Capital Cuts! Nathan listened to what I wanted which was a switch from the classic bob I had and he did an amazing job giving me the shorter layered look I wanted. Nathan is also a great conversationalist and we had a thoughtful chat as well. Without a doubt if I was local, I would be a regular here. Capital Cuts is truly a gem in downtown Harrisburg!

Nathan was fantastic. I came in with hair untouched for over 6 months and a color formula from my previous stylist in another city, and Nathan made it HAPPEN. We had great conversation, and the time absolutely flew by. Being a queer woman it was comforting to find a shop that is openly a safe space for our community. I look great, and I feel even better. I can’t wait to come back.

Nathan listened and gave thoughtful feedback on what I thought would work for me. We agreed on the length and that I don’t like to fuss with my hair. He gave me a fabulous cut! I’m so excited to have a new, experienced, talented, stylist that I can trust. A great haircut helps build your confidence. I know my hair looks great!
