The hairdresser was meticulous, and, as a result, did a great job! The instructor supervised the hairdresser student with great results :-) I would absolutely recommend this beauty school to all my friends as a great place to get an inexpensive, but fabulous haircut!

I experienced Raphael today while he cut and colored my hair. He is one of the best stylist I have experienced, certainly while I have been in New Mexico. He takes his time to create a style that works with your face shape. He reminds me of a stylist from New York City. He is truly a master at hair styling.

The young lady who colored my hair was amazing. She did such an amazing job love my hair love the color love the cut, and I will definitely be back. I was so pleased with my whole experience. Thank you.

Yes, because the students are learning they can take longer on a haircut , but the results have been worth it.

This is my first visit to a better u, and I was really impressed. I came in as a walk-in and was seen right away. Danny was my stylist, was so friendly and worked to make me feel comfortable. My haircut itself exceeded my expectations, and Danny had great attention to detail, and made sure he understood what I was looking for before he started the cut. Will definitely come back again, and will definitely ask for Danny as my stylist again.

I had a wonderful experience getting my haircut at the Better U Academy. The budding hair stylist who cut my hair was so courteous and professional it felt like a $500 haircut! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have found the stylist who will cut my hair for the rest of the time I'm living in ABQ.

I like coming here for my hair to be cut, even though these young men & women are beginning hairstylist, I get just as good as a haircut as if I went to the barbershop and paid $40-$50 dollars for. And knowing this now, coming to A Better U really is A bargain!

I've been going to Johnny Sandoval for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the service. He's incredibly skilled, pays attention to every detail, and always makes sure the haircut is exactly what I want. The cuts are consistently clean, professional, and look great every time. He's also friendly, easy to talk to, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a barber who truly knows what he's doing, I highly recommend him.
