After asking for recommendations for an experienced, low-sensory hairdresser in Palmerston North, Nicole was recommended multiple times — and I can see why. She created a calm, comfortable space, took the time to really listen during the consult, and offered thoughtful professional advice. I had an excellent haircut, and she also washed, massaged, and styled my hair beautifully. I love my new style and would happily recommend her to others looking for a supportive, skilled hairdresser. The first Taiwanese hair salon in Christchurch and it did not disappoint. Andy was my hairdresser and I talked to him during the consult about my last haircut from another hairdresser and the improvements to the style I wanted. He listened attentively and gave his own advice and education and the result turned out great! I loved that the session wasn’t rushed and Andy was relaxed and professional, he really took the time to get it right. I’m very happy with my haircut and he gave me styling tips to help. The pricing is very reasonable and I’ll definitely be coming back to maintain the style.

Really enjoyed having my hair done by Gemma and attending Barnet Fair for the first time. Great location, and great vibe at the venue which Gemma compliments with her bright personality and attention to detail when caring for her clients. Incredibly happy with my cut, colour and the vibrant pink dye Gemma used for an extra kick to my usual blonde highlights. Have all ready rebooked and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a passionate and talented hairdresser.

I had an excellent experience at Kess Northlands! The haircut and beard trim were both done to perfection. The stylist really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions that suited my style.

My first visit without any appointment just walked in for a haircut, wash and blow. Coincidently, they were having a promotion for wash, cut and blow for $49. The promotion is till 15/3/25. Showed stylist photo of what I wanted and she layered as I wanted. Very experienced stylist, fast and really satisfied with the outcome. Definitely found my regular hairdresser from now on.

Awesome service. I phoned yesterday and was given an appointment the next day, prompt service. I arrived and received warmly by Angela my hairdresser. I requested foils to cover my greys to top head, she graciously accommodated me, with good advice. I was attended to straight away, and given personal service by Angela. At the end of my consult my hair color looked fabulous i was very satisfied. Had a dry & blow-wave & style as well. Walked out feeling million dollars. Cost not too bad, as expected. Conversation, friendly. I would recommend to everyone.
