I had another lovely colour here today. My regular stylist is on maturity leave, but she left instructions for the next stylist. Alyce did a lovely job and took the time to ensure what I wanted. Always a relaxing experience.

I love getting my hair cut at Escape Hair. All the staff are friendly, chatty and make you feel welcome from walking in the salon. Staff are always professional but have a good giggle too. They cheer me up when I am in the salon. Danielle my stylist, shows me and gives me some great hair tips and advice. I do enjoy my appointment time in the salon. I would recommend Escape Hair salon to anyone. I guess if there has to be a negative side, it would be that the salon is on the 1st floor, so there are some steps to climb, but they are easy and manageable as there is a handrail to grab.

It's my fourth visit to Matilda and will be my go-to hairdresser for sure now. I love how Matilda listens and remembers my preferences, amazing hairstylist I would 100% recommend

I had a consultation with Matilda and was very happy with the interest she showed in how I wanted my hair to look, very impressed with the saloon, clean and modern. Matilda had another hairdresser (sorry don’t know the ladies name) help her and I felt I’d be in safe hands as far as the colour would look. The staff all seemed a really friendly bunch and I had been recommended to Matilda as she had done such a great job on a friends hair 😃 also extremely impressed that the salon uses vegan/plant based products 👍

The service was excellent and Izzy did a lovely job on my hair but I do not find it necessary to have to go online each time to confirm an appointment. If you book an appointment for next time and confirm it with the hairdresser and that should be the end of that. I understand that cancellations on the day can be disruptive but not everyone relies on technology. I prefer personal service.
