I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

I had a lovely session with Lauren this afternoon in her beautiful salon. Had eyebrow tint and wax with a bit of added Botox. I also had a very relaxing Dermaplane. I would highly recommend Lauren she is so professional and very friendly.

Like always I've been to kamila for an pampering day regarding eyebrows colour boost ,dermaplaning and lash lift and tint and she did amazing 👏. She's always given me to good advise regarding after procedures and making sure I understand completely. She is the best i will definitely recommend 💯 to all women's that still are concerned regarding beauty and she is one you can trust truly.

Lauren made me feel welcome and I received a lovely treatment! Lauren was professional and made me feel comfortable throughout. Micro-needling was something I have never had before and I loved it! I also had my brows laminated and tinted. Which Lauren always does a fantastic job of! I would highly recommend any treatment from Lauren.

I was very nervous and had waited a long time to take the leap to semi permanent make up. Kamila was reassuring and explained everything thoroughly. She took time in my initial consultation to explain about the process and we looked at colours and when my appointment for my brows arrived I felt completely safe in her chair and actually can’t believe I waited so long to do this! I am thrilled with the results (and the extra time I will have every morning now I don’t have to draw on my eyebrows!) I would highly recommend Kamila.

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. Fantastic facial today along with LED light facial, eye brow tint and wax. Lauren was very tentative and thorough on explaining with detail what she was doing and what products she was using on my face. I felt relaxed and at ease through out the whole treatment. My face has never felt better! She was amazing and it was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! I highly recommend!

Char is THE best at hair extensions in York by a mile. The blend is outrageous, colour match is spot on, she just knows exactly how to make it look so natural. She’s also the best therapist whilst working! The easiest person to talk to, goes above & beyond to accommodate you with every appointment. Just always a pleasure. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I've always had a love/hate relationship with my eyebrows. Until Kamila transformed them.... I went in for powder brows and from the first consultation Kamila put my mind at ease, thorough discussion regarding shape and colour, aftercare and what to expect from the treatment. My only issue is that I didn't do it sooner!!

I booked a 45 minute Swedish massage with Amy, and I requested firm pressure. This massage was better than the usual sports massages I get. I will be certain to book in here again during my next visit to York.

Kamila prior and during my appointment was not only professional but very informative, answering all questions I had about the treatment which straight away put me at ease. Also being thorough with what to expect with my aftercare. I am so happy with the results of my eyebrows and look forward to seeing Kamila again for my top up in a few weeks time.
