Are there any side effects or risks associated with hair transplant surgery?

Yes, you’re likely to have scarring in the area(s) your graft(s) were taken. Your scalp may become sore and swell a few days after your transplant, and you’ll probably experience some scabbing. There’s also risk of bleeding, infection, and an allergic reaction to the anaesthetic.

What should I expect during a hair treatment appointment?

What your hair stylist does during a treatment will be dictated by the treatment you choose. Your treatment may be carried out on washed, unwashed, wet, or dry hair. What are professional hair treatments?
