Best Hair Coloring near me in Gateshead

Lisa is always amazing! I don’t live in Gateshead anymore but I come to see her especially and I won’t let anyone but her cut my hair or my girls’ hair. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had. The salon is such a lovely place to be and all the staff are friendly. It’s always a pleasure to be at Evergreen. Thank you so much for the excellent service !

Salon was lovely, interior really aesthetic and relaxing. Kelsha was lovely, she took time to sit and listen to what I wanted and recommended things. She took extra time at the end to make sure I liked it and cut extra off for me to make sure I was happy. She showed me ways to style my hair and made me really comfortable. The best salon I've been to in Gateshead/Newcastle and will be coming back.

Ella did a great job, helping me choose the colour, shape and length of my nails which are all great. She also advised me to try builder gel which looks great and is better for my nails.

It was my first appointment with Lauren and she was amazing! She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and understand my goals for my hair. I have quite thick hair and want to keep it long, and she absolutely nailed the cut. I walked out of the salon feeling like a new woman! I’m so happy with the result and will definitely be coming back to see her for colour.

She did a lovely job of my gel colour and was very friendly.

First time customer, mid forties lady with thinking hair, uncoloured for about a year and scattered greys….. I asked for a choppy blunt bob, brunette with subtle lighter strips to enhance a short waved bob…. I was so nervous but wanted a change, Jade and the team at Evergreen were amazing, every part of my first time visiting the salon to leaving feeling like a brand new women (amazing what a cut and colour will do for your confidence) 👸 Couldn’t recommend enough, bringing my sons next month, to the skilled 3rd generation mullet hairdresser showing how it’s done in 2026🙌

Shoutout to Paige for absolutely smashing this. I went to a few different hairdressers asking for this colour and they all told me to lower my expectations because I had leftover orange tones and my natural dark hair. But Paige was so patient and genuinely cared about getting it right. You can really tell she puts her whole heart into what she does. I’m so happy with the result! Definitely coming back. Worth every penny and the service is top-notch.
