I absolutely love going to Cuttlefish in Lewes. Everyone is really friendly and I always come out with an amazing haircut, and I always receive lots of compliments! James, my stylist, is really talented and gives useful advice on how to keep the hair in top condition. I would highly recommend!

Cuttlefish has a friendly relaxed air to it, and the hairdressers themselves fantastic. It was refreshing to have a hair cut that was what I asked for after years of "safe" hair cuts from other salons. Thank you so much to the team for such a great experience. It was very much needed after a long stressful day :)

The haircuts here are the best haircuts around. Honestly you won't get a better haircut than the haircuts you can get here. Easily the best haircuts in East Sussex. Maybe even West Sussex too. Highly recommend.

After years of disappointing hairdresser experiences, I’m so pleased to find Cuttlefish, and the first stylist who has truly listened and understood my curls. The salon is quirky and unlike the sparkly or clinical looking chain salons, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

What an amazing experience I had in the salon yesterday, I didn’t feel uncomfortable or out of place at all! All the girls were amazing and so lovely. My hair has turned out to be stunning thanks to Chelsea and Ellie and help at the end from Freya. I can’t thank you all enough xox

Had my hair done by freya a few times and she stops at nothing to get the look you want, she’s kind and caring and thrives for perfection all of the things you need when trusting somebody with your hair, I recently changed my hair colour too! And she made sure I was happy and helped me with the whole process! 10/10 hair, experience and process

Steve is a great stylist and a really nice person. He’s also an excellent interior designer and the Lewes Cuttlefish salon is looking fabulous after a major makeover between Xmas and New Year. We had such interesting chats at my appointment yesterday and I’m so pleased with my new style for 2025. Steve does a great dry cut of curly hair and I then have a relaxing wash, head massage and final blow dry for curls. It’s a treat and worth it long term too…Til the next time, in mid-March. Thanks a million Steve. HNY!
