Brand new branch of the Penang-based Teratak Spa, attached to Kunang Kunang Heritage Villas resort. They're still in a soft opening phase, so only a handful of treatments are available. I decided to try their 90 min "Urutan Malaysian signature massage" and got pampered from start to finish by the expert therapist Aiman and the lovely Umi at the reception. Great massage and spa treatment using amazing skills and scented oils. Amazing spa, amazing location and wonderful staff: definitely give it a try if you want to experience another aspect of the fascinating Malaysian culture 👍🏻

Really refreshing and relaxing

Clean, comfortable treatment rooms in a tranquil setting. Staff and therapists cheerful and helpful. The therapist did a perfect job in finding my tight muscles and massaging them into submission, then finished off with a softer massage to leave me very relaxed. A very enjoyable experience. I would certainly recommend the Teratai.

Fantastic, do it

The masseuse was kind and professional and gave a massage that I would rate as average (on the basis of having had many massages in Asia). It was Okay but had nothing to stand out or be memorable. She had very limited English language so communication was not great- we got by. The massage bed had a face hole that was quite small for me and I started to feel slightly uncomfortable. I got the impression the masseuse was trying really hard and so this has influenced my decision to rate as good, rather than Okay.

Very warm welcoming vibes at this spa with lush greenery around the property. The treatment today started with a relaxing foot bath and the warm oil massage was very therapeutic with Roslan. I have previously received Malay traditional massage from Afiq who is very skilled and provides good amount of pressure and technique was solid. I also really enjoyed a rejuvenating facial with Awin and felt like a new person after. I quite like the tea they served and the antioxidant sauna is a nice option. Will have to try the floral bath next time.
