I was lucky enough to have the spa extreme ritual day, this was the best massage and facial I have ever had. The young lady who have me this experience was fantastic. The pool, and other amenities were great, the salt room especially. My Spar package also included a light lunch which I had a beautiful Yorkshire ham salad, and would highly recommend. You can even stay in your bathrobe to go and have lunch in the conservatory. I will definitely be returning.

fabulous experience and so quiet even though the venue is situated in the middle of York you wouldnt know it. Luke is brilliant as is Emily and i would highly recommend them both. Always feel so relaxed after a massage at Massage 22

The staff were friendly and professional and the full body deep tissue massage was fantastic. I enjoyed my treatment which is why I haven’t rated lower but there were a couple of things that could have made it an even better experience; telephone payment required in advance - it would have been better for payment to be taken via the app as it was difficult to get through on the phone. Also the massage I had booked had been changed in error, something I had spotted but was unable to get through on the phone which unfortunately meant I could not have the hot stone massage as planned.

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. I booked in with Ruby for a Swedish back massage. First impressions the salon is lovely and modern, the massage room was very warm and cosy. Ruby was lovely so I felt very relaxed and comfortable throughout! I’d never had a massage before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but Ruby put me at ease, the massage was fantastic, so relaxing! Aftercare advice was given at the end. Overall a fantastic experience and I’ll definitely be a returning customer :) thanks Ruby! Xx

I had the Swedish massage with Katy and it was wonderful! The 25-minute booking felt like 5 minutes and it was so well done. Fantastic experience!

This was my first Swedish massage and it was wonderful. Pernilla was so professional and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. She adjusts the pressure to your personal preference and I left feeling very relaxed and happy. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend Pernilla.
