Well! Where do I begin? My locs journey could’ve been much better if I knew about Salon Nuevo owned by Danny Dreads in Laval. I cut off my first sets of starter locs unable to find a good loctician in Montreal and Quebec. Princess Jade, beautiful, polite, courteous, caring, attentive and a superb personality did my retwist so well. It surpassed even the best loctician I had in Brooklyn New York. I am delighted grateful and happy for the service. Even if I had no hands, I would still give Jade 2 thumbs up. Hands down the best in Quebec! GQ magazine I am ready for my pose! Damn I feel special

Got my starter locs with Tanya and it was better than I imagined. The consult was clear—she walked me through timing, cost, and what to expect. Install was smooth, tight, and exactly how I pictured. The location is easy to het to clean and the team's vibe is positve and inclusive. Tanya even sent me home with an after‑care kit and plenty of maintainable tips. Tanya is a gem. She knows her craft and is opened to suggestions and preferences. She cares for the health of your hair and will guide you if needed. Tell her what you need and she will work with you. Always a great experience with her . I have locs and not sister locs, and she is on point.

I enjoyed the wonderful service very much. The amazing artist did a fantastic job on repairing my hair and did the best retwist to go with that. Dayna was amazing and the staff was so outgoing and cool. I would strongly recommend this place. The place is very professional, clean and had a good home feeling to it. I personally had a good time just being there.

My experience at Nuevo was great! I got a wash and a retwist and was done within 2 hours. Jade was effective and left me with beautiful results!
