It was my first time going to her studio, and it was also my first time getting my haircut at a salon. I was pretty nervous at first because I have volumnized frizzy hair and was scared whether if my hair will frizz badly after the haircut. Although, they didn’t speak english, there was a translator helping me translate everything I wanted for my hair. Kevin did a great job on my hair and gave great suggestions for my hair!! I absolutely love my hair.

Second time at Her salon and I'll be coming here for all my cuts. This team of hairdressers are clearly passionate and experts at what they do. Kevin cut my hair today and it might even be my favorite cut ever. I wanted to do a short cut and was a little nervous because the texture of my hair is frizzy, but Kevin asked me a ton of questions and gave his best advice on what length would look the best and he was absolutely spot on. I'll be asking for kevin again next time I want to get a haircut or change my hair in any way.

Dylan was very knowledgeable! I had thin and fine hair that needed volume, and Dylan knew exactly how to do my root perm correctly. He also designed my haircut according to my personal style. Love this hair salon overall!

First time her and it was great! Darren was so helpful with translating and making sure Andy understood what I wanted. I had showed him few styles I liked and asked him to do what he thought best suited for me. I had cut/digital perm. Andy was awesome!! Hair turned out well! Love it! Even better is the perm he gave me will be easy to style. He said blow dry will give me wavy look and air dry is more curls. Yay!! Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

I was surprised that the hair salon didn’t have the typical chemical smell. They even offered Fiji water. The stylist did a great job cutting my hair, which is usually hard to manage. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience with Dylan. I’m someone who does not do much with my hair but I wanted a change and did not know where to begin. Dylan made suggestions with pics and gave me tips on how to take care of my hair. Also suggested if I wanted to continue to keep my curls, and want a more stand out look, he suggested I should color my hair brown to enhance the layers. Also want to give a big shout out to the receptionist. I unfortunately did not catch her name but she was super nice and helps with translating. She was able to answer my questions with a lot of patience.

I had a super good experience with Gavin. I came in to get a perm and a trim to update my look a bit and I am incredibly satisfied with the work that was done. He and the other stylist that worked with me were both very professional and considerate, even with our language barrier. I haven't ever had such a drastic change to my hairstyle as I did today, so when I came in I only had an brief idea of what I wanted the end product to look like with a reference photo. Gavin did a quick inspection of both me and the reference and immediately got to work.

I'm thankful Dylan made suggestions as this was a reason why I chose Her Studio. However, -1 star because I almost got a chemical burn when I got my hair colored. They kept adding on more color constantly to try to lighten my hair and said multiple times afterwards that it happens because I had my hair washed already. I'll still come back for haircuts but I'm not so sure about coloring.

Because of his efficiency, excellent technique, and professionalism, I ended up booking another appointment on the spot that included all of his suggested services. This was my first time dyeing my hair and getting a perm, but I trusted Kevin right away. I absolutely love my hair and will definitely be returning. Eric has been a great stylist to work with and one of the few people I trust working with my hair. I’ve been trying to find a stylist in the Bay Area that has experience working with eastern hair and I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a stylist that could perm men’s hair properly. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone looking to get a men’s perm in the Bay Area!

Stanley is definitely the best stylist I’ve had. I originally booked an air wave perm appointment but he recommended digital perm due to my hair length and texture. He listened to my concern with my flat hair and suggested to roll the hair from the top to give it more volume. This is the third time I got digital perm but this is the 1st time I really like how it turned out. I received so many compliments. Thank you again, Stanley.
