Nixie was nice, she was running about 30 minutes behind. I would have appreciated a phone call stating that she was running late and ask if I could push my appointment back. Because she was running late I felt like she rushed through the appointment. This was my first time meeting Nixie. She didnt say hi or introduce herself she just told me to head over to the sink and started washing before even asking what I wanted to do with my hair. She didnt attempt to have conversation with me and chatted with another staff member throughout session(yelling across the salonat times) The cut itself great

From Pittsburgh, to Chicago, to then Arizona… John remains the best barber with the most attention to detail out of anyone else I’ve had cut my hair. Maybe 1 other person has come close in Chicago but I haven’t found anyone as good as them since besides John. Now I fly back from Arizona and make sure my hair is ready to cut so I can go back and show my barbers there how it is done. John even went far enough to take instructional videos for those barbers back in AZ because they “don’t know how the Pittsburgh barber got my hair looking like that.” 😂 It doesn’t get any better than that!

Christine, the owner, is very very good with color and cut. Probably the only salon in the Pittsburgh area that still uses Framesi hair color, from Italy . It makes all the difference. lastly, the salonists don’t jump from client to client like other salons. When you get an appointment here, it is your appointment for the entire time. Great Small business, support it.

I’m a 48 year old man that had to find a place to take my elderly mother who was very weak and not feeling well but she needed a manicure , color and haircut. My wife told me to call Christine’s. And I’m so happy I did. They seen her the same day that I called and even stayed open longer than usual because my mom was in a and was not feeling well. Jessie the stylist , did a great job and was very compassionate to my mom’s weak condition. All 3 staff members made me feel comfortable and especially took care of my mother. They are all kind people and I highly suggest going there.
