Sophia came to my rescue after an unfortunate colour experience with another hairdresser. I am not local to Exeter, as I had travelled down from Kent for my wedding and needed my colour sorted urgently and Sophia managed to fit me in at short notice. I've been looking for a place to do my brows in Exeter since I moved here four years ago . I had hybrid stain brows done by Zoe and they are amazing, best brows I've had done for sometime I love them! My stylist is Katie Holloway I can’t recommend her highly enough and she’s so friendly and professional. Katie is an excellent colourist and she really understands how to blend colours in a natural way without any nasty clumsy stripes like so many hairdressers. Katie also cuts my hair and she’s really aware of how to thin out weight and thickness and makes my hair look lighter and well styled. I really love Aveda products too, as they’re not harsh or drying like many other brands. Go and book your appointment today - they are always busy at Head but there’s a good reason for that! Gill

Sasha is so knowledgable and it really shows in her work. My hair is looking fabulous after some low lights, toner and root melt. Colour correction was not an issue when my hair soaked up the toner too well! I cannot recommend her enough and the difference she has made to my hair already is amazing! She has achieved the wedding hair I wanted! ❤️ thank you

I can't recommend Sophia highly enough. She is warm, welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She really listened to what I wanted and took the time to understand my hair and preferences. Sophia offered excellent advice and made me feel completely at ease throughout the appointment. The results were fantastic, both cut and colour. I left the salon feeling fab. Kate is incredibly experienced. She has worked with all sorts of different hair and trained to style while caring. I am so lucky to have found her after years of searching for a hair dresser who knows how to handle my big thick hair. Tucked away off the magical ghandi street in Exeter, Fern is intimate beautiful and so relaxing, feels, smells and music tunes .. perfect. Her products are all ethically and sustainably sourced, and she is a very kind, cultured and warm friendly stylist to spend time with! She is also very reasonably priced. Thanks Kate for being awesome!

Great service, Katie was very friendly and offering loads of great advice for hair care treatments at home, would definitely recommend Fern Hair studio if you are looking for a welcoming and efficient place in Exeter.

Very nice first appointment with Garry. Took his time prepping my hair before the wash and gave me a couple of treatments to take out the dullness and to lighten up my hair. Garry is new to Exeter and would like to open his own place, which I’m sure will be a success. Will be booking in again, for sure!

What a wonderful experience at Kate's little salon. She is so skilled at both men and women's cuts, of all ages. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience! My child’s hair had lots of knots and Garrry took time to work on them with distraction so it didn’t feel unpleasant. He showed patience, creativity and both me and my kid felt at ease. After the haircut, the hair looked much healthier, lighter, great for summer, what we came for! Highly recommended!
