Love the layered haircut I got for my long hair! Very professional service from the wash to the blow dry. I have tried so many other places in cairns but they just wouldn’t/afraid to cut the disconnected layer in my hair!! Francesco is very skilled and cut my dream hair! Availability and booking was really easy online and I was so happy to find somewhere open on a Sunday as I was visiting Cairns for the weekend! My service (blow wave) felt rushed as the stylist was under the pump and I had a bit of a headache by the end. However It was lovely to be served a mimosa on arrival and the staff (Jeff and Francesco) were both really friendly and I will definitely be back if I’m visiting again.

Hello, I'm a mature lady who lives in Tropical North Queensland. Walking around Cairns I observed how shabby and shaggy the average person's lanky, long hair looked. Then horror of all horrors I saw a reflection of myself in a shop window. I was also one of the "shaggiest"! This lead to much researching of the total 40 odd hairdressers in Cairns. I needed an updated style that would show my femininity. I found Lexie at Vault Ninety One. If I moved to Timbuctoo I'd travel back to this truly talented stylist who has made my hair and my life brighter.

Having recently relocated to Cairns I was looking for a new hairdresser and hit the jackpot with Jack. Right from the start he was a great communicator, genuine and I felt like the haircut was very collaborative - it turned out great. Thanks Jack! By the way the fringe looks great when I put my hair up in a pony tail. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am absolutely thrilled to find DJ. After a botched haircut 2 weeks ago l got to the stage that l could not put up with my hair 1 more day. After reading 4 hours of reviews l crossed my fingers and decided to make an appointment with DJ at Suede. It was 1am in the morning when l went to make an appointment. I couldn't believe it when he had an appointment for 4pm that day. It was meant to be. DJ is certainly a professional and knows his stuff. I have now found my new hairdresser in Cairns. I would highly recommend DJ 👌

Absolutely loved my experience at Suede Hair in Cairns! I got a fresh cut and they did an amazing job refreshing my blonde hair after it had gone a little yellow from the sun & swimming during my holiday. The colour looks bright and healthy again. On top of that, I got to hold the most adorable, well-behaved dog while they cut my hair — honestly the best bonus ever 🐶💛 Everything was perfect from start to finish. Friendly, professional, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Addie since I moved to Cairns 2 years ago. She is incredibly skilled at figuring out what works for you and what you want as well as delightful to spend time with. She has helped me find a style that I can keep with little effort and has been tweaking my colour to fit the colours I like with my job requirements. Not always a straightforward job.
