I had an excellent appointment at the Essence of Beauty Salon. The staff and services were very professional. Kiran was my stylist, and I am very happy with my hair style and overall experience. I live in Houston, TX and I'm in Charleston visiting my brother. I will return to the salon when I'm in town during future visits.

First time salon experience was great! Tonya was very informative regarding what I could/should do to better grow my hair and keep it healthy. She was also very quick but didn’t ignore the comments or concerns I had while completing my service! I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her as well!

I drive 5 1/2 hours one way just for Kelly to do my hair!! She’s worth every mile!! She will wash, dry, trim, cut and absolutely lay my hair DOWN in 1 hour. How she does it so efficiently, professionally, and beautifully, is like a perfectly choreographed dance. I never got so many compliments on my hair until I started going to Kelly and listening to her teach me how to take care of my natural mane. Truly, one of the best in the hair game!!!

I went for my first ever spray tan. She was extremely professional and made me feel super comfortable through out the entire process. I was worried at first since I am very pale that I would not look good after, but I definitely did. It looks so natural and I got a lot of compliments. The only part that I wasn’t in love with was my hands but I know that hands have got to be the hardest part about a spray tan. Other than that, I loved the way I look and have been heavily considering keeping up this color through the summer!

Liv made the whole experience absolutely AMAZING! From booking and reminders to the spray tan and checkout, everything was effortless, fun, and so welcoming. Her setup at The Crystal Abbey is adorable and instantly boosts your mood. It’s been 10 hours since my tan and I am truly OBSESSED. The color is flawless, even, and such a massive confidence boost. I’ll 100% be booking again the second this one starts to fade because she completely nailed it!
