I went in originally thinking I would get knotless boho braids, but after my stylist KE evaluated my hair especially the breakage in the back she recommended small box braids instead. I was a little hesitant at first because I really wanted the knotless look, but I’m so glad I trusted her . The braids came out incredibly neat and seamless. The knots are so small they almost look like knotless braids anyway. She was very fast and efficient despite getting small braids I was in and out in about 5 hours. I’m really grateful I found KE She was professional, honest about what my hair needed 10/10

Barbara was very professional and I had a great experience overall. I got s(medium) knotless braids and was done in 3 hours. Braids are very lightweight and not tight.

Obe is so amazing! Helped me to achieve the color mixture I wanted and was conscious and considerate of appropriately measuring the amount of hair per braid based on my hair texture. I have fine hair, I really appreciate her recognizing that, and not weighing my hair down with too much braiding hair per braid. Already re-booked!

As a dual beauty supply store and Hair Braiding salon I’m satisfied with this establishment and their staff. I’ve been getting my hair braided here a little over 3 years and have yet to have a problem. I normally book first am appointments. Always greeted with respect and before they begin their day, they pray first. Book online through their Fresha app to avoid any confusion. There is a deposit required and applied towards your total balance. They are hardworking and get you in and out as quickly as possible as they each complete two or more heads each shift. Prices are reasonable.

This is my second time working with Ke and I’ll choose her every time! She’s kind and personable and FAST! Both times I’ve gotten small braids and have been out in about 3 hours! She’s really the best!

This was my second visit to the shop and I’m so pleased with how my hair came out! Naomi and the young ladies assisting her did a BEAUTIFUL job on my small bora bora braids. They started at 9:30 and I was out the door by 1:30. The shop is always clean and you can guarantee amazing service from all the braiders to the cashier in the beauty supply, which is why I keep coming back. Martha’s is the perfect place for anyone that wants quality haircare at a good price and exceptional service without spending 12+hrs in a shop!

I absolutely adore Aimee! She's so sweet, has a gentle hand and is very attentive with making sure she doesn't braid with a heavy hand. I gave 4 stars because of the person helping her. That lady was pulling my head so hard that my whole head was hung to the side and my scalp felt like it was on fire. I had to ask her to stop pulling so hard. Braiders should not just concentrate on doing hair, you need to also be attentive to the client and how they might be feeling. I would never feel comfortable referring that braider to anyone. Aimee deserves 10 stars and others can learn from her.

Barbara did a good job checking in with me on size and length of the twist but she did give me regular twists instead of the knotless that I requested and paid for (even though I confirmed twice that I was getting knotless). (I didn't notice until now). The style is still super cute and super neat though! And she did a great job!

Susanna was great. Her service was on point. Loved to hear her sing hymns in her native language. My only issue isn't with her but with the fact that every time I come there, something isn't how it should be. This time, I booked midback knotless. I left with waist length because my length wasn't in stock...again. Who does inventory? This isn't the 1st time. I pray that all is well with Martha. Shes normally on point.

I had a great experience at Martha’s Hair Braiding Salon! Philomina did my hair and she did an amazing job—very welcoming, fast, and skilled. Elom did my daughter’s hair and truly brought her vision to life. My daughter is 7 and wanted blue added, and Elom used just the right amount so it was cute without being overwhelming. We’re both so happy with our results. I’ll definitely be booking again!
