Lisa is always amazing! I don’t live in Gateshead anymore but I come to see her especially and I won’t let anyone but her cut my hair or my girls’ hair. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had. The salon is such a lovely place to be and all the staff are friendly. It’s always a pleasure to be at Evergreen. Thank you so much for the excellent service !

Again another lovely visit. Had a full head of highlights, visit wasn't rushed, had a coffee and a chat and the results are perfect. Exactly what I wanted for a mini pamper session. Absolutely love my hair, will be back again soon xx

Amazing experience. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful hair colouring from Hope and lovely curls styled into my hair from Marianne. Highly recommended- excellent colour every time.

I have been to a fair few hair dressers and Jude is 100% my favourite. Jude is so easy to talk to, it's a very relaxed environment. Normally during appointments with others I'd be on my phone 90% of the time but I was only on it when Jude had to go mix colours or let dye/ bleach sit for a bit. I am so excited to go back to Jude for whatever colour we decide on next. I've already reccommended Jude to friends and family and they haven't even seen my new hair yet. Again 100% the best hair appointment I've ever had. Jude is incredibly talented and I can't wait to go back.

Salon was lovely, interior really aesthetic and relaxing. Kelsha was lovely, she took time to sit and listen to what I wanted and recommended things. She took extra time at the end to make sure I liked it and cut extra off for me to make sure I was happy. She showed me ways to style my hair and made me really comfortable. The best salon I've been to in Gateshead/Newcastle and will be coming back.

Ettie saved my hair. I came to her after a previous hairdresser botched my blonde and left me with a block yellow orange colour. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she gave me the most beautiful, natural vanilla blonde balayage. You are in safe hands with her.

Shoutout to Paige for absolutely smashing this. I went to a few different hairdressers asking for this colour and they all told me to lower my expectations because I had leftover orange tones and my natural dark hair. But Paige was so patient and genuinely cared about getting it right. You can really tell she puts her whole heart into what she does. I’m so happy with the result! Definitely coming back. Worth every penny and the service is top-notch.

First time customer, mid forties lady with thinking hair, uncoloured for about a year and scattered greys….. I asked for a choppy blunt bob, brunette with subtle lighter strips to enhance a short waved bob…. I was so nervous but wanted a change, Jade and the team at Evergreen were amazing, every part of my first time visiting the salon to leaving feeling like a brand new women (amazing what a cut and colour will do for your confidence) 👸 Couldn’t recommend enough, bringing my sons next month, to the skilled 3rd generation mullet hairdresser showing how it’s done in 2026🙌

Sarah is absolutely excellent. I am so pleased with how my colour turned out, it is stunning. She offers great advice on aftercare, & styling & is so lovely every time I visit. Cannot recommend her highly enough.
