My husband and I have been going to Stacy at Hair Tech Salon for years, and we highly recommend her! Stacy is friendly, professional, and truly talented. She does my color, highlights, and cuts, and I always love the results. She also keeps my husband’s hair looking great with expert cuts and cleanups. My son is really happy with his haircut. He had chosen a photo of what he was hoping for, and Jordyn was able to adapt it to perfectly suit his hair type and colour. Even though it’s a bit of a drive for us, we prefer Hair Tropics because the staff are always very skilled, friendly, and helpful, and my kids love being able to play video games during their haircut.

Great! Ella was helpful with advice on how to manage my daughter's hair. She did exactly what my daughter (who is 7) asked for, and even added some sparkle spray to her hair, which my daughter was thrilled about. We also added a colour braid, and it was very well applied.

Stacey is a wonderful stylist that always does an amazing job for both my husband and I. She keeps him “clean cut” and does my haircuts, coloring and highlights. She is always super genuine & friendly. Don’t hesitate to put your trust in her and her salon!

Great experience at Mister Barber on Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary. Mark, the owner and barber, provides outstanding personalized service without the sometimes fake decorum of the larger barber chains—all at a very reasonable price. What really impressed me was the attention to detail: he even timed my haircut to fit perfectly with my next appointment. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Cowboy Town!

We are new to SE Calgary so it was our first time here. Ella was great! Very personable and easy to chat with. Even my son had a few words with her (which he never does; he’s so shy!). It was my 3yr olds 5th haircut of his life so we’re still getting to know his cowlicks and parts; Ella took the time to educate me on hair lengths and styles that would work best for him. She did a wonderful job blending his hair (best he’s had ever!) and he loved having spiked hair “like a dinosaur.” We will be back! Thank you, Ella!

I had a very long trip but this is my second child with his first haircut, they both had their first time here and it is worth every mile. Each girl has such a patient, kind and empathetic style with my kids, Thank you for the few minutes you waited for me, your patience is gold. This is the best place for your little kids in Calgary 🫂♥️

Went here for my baby’s haircut. They were great with kids. Tried so many kids barber shop in calgary and this is the only place that my baby actually did not cry while getting his haircut. A little far from our place but definitely coming back.

I have worked with Molly a few times, and she has been fantastic every time! I've gotten two fantastic (and fun!) dye jobs, and this most recent time, she is helping me find a good low maintenance hair style for my mid-back-length hair ahead of a planned surgery. I had a bad experience with a hair stylist once, which left me with way-too-short hair, and had been cutting my own hair every since, until I met Molly. She is extremely understanding and seems happy to work with my neuroticism. :P The entire staff at this Hair Tec location are super friendly, too!

AMAZING! Abby was extremely patient and helpful with my curly girl who has a sensitive scalp. We had a bad experience at a different salon the day before and the ladies at Hair Tropics completely turned it around for us. They made her feel comfortable and offered glitter and color ad ins, which she loved. I also really appreciated that you guys have inclusive books on the shelf. Kaitlyn was super friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!

Chantelle was very sweet and very careful with my boy since she knew it was his first time. She was super attentive and made sure he was comfortable with every step of the process. We’ll definitely be back again. Thanks so much for such a great first time experience. I also loved the salon and how they thought of everything from the cars the kids sit in, tvs and toys. Stacey is the best!! My husband and I have been going to her for years and she fits us in together which saves us from making two trips. She is a hair wizard! She listened carefully to my ideas and gave expert advice, resulting in the perfect cut and highlights. She cuts my husband’s hair and does a great job of “cleaning up” his bushy eye brows and moustache. The salon has a clean, welcoming vibe, and we always leave feeling fabulous
