After 3 years of living in Edinburgh and trying different places I am so glad I found VelvetBrows! I always used to end up with thin eyebrows after threading which I always told any beautician I don’t want before starting, however Zivile really listens and she’s done a tremendous job in shaping my eyebrows (threading only) without thinning them. She is very professional and very passionate about what she does, I would strongly recommend Velvet Brows! Now I need to look no further as I’ll always come back here

Incredible! Magda is very talented and is the best nail technician I have been to in Edinburgh! Her design work is detailed and gorgeous. She is also very friendly and we have great conversation. It is clear she loves her job and is very good at what she does. I would highly recommend this salon and especially Magda she is amazing!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Claire who has done multiple eyebrow tint and tidies + lash lifts for me. She’s an amazing professional who takes into consideration every aspect of a client’s request. I walk out of every appointment feeling beautiful and fully satisfied with the result. I have very sensitive eyes and I’ve never had an issue with Claire’s work. If you’re looking for a friendly, professional and considerate approach, I highly recommend booking with her.

I feel so proud to be the first waxing client with Niamh since bringing her craft to CBD I got my arms, neck and eyebrows done and she did an absolutely amazing job and I left with not one sticky bit on my body, which is a huge feat! I go to Lisa for nails, toes, waxing, tinting and occasionally a facial and massage. Lisa's beautiful salon space has the atmosphere of an upscale spa such as Archerfield and is impeccably decorated with soothing colour schemes. Lisa herself is so warm and friendly and gives you a truly welcoming but professional experience. I really look forward to my treatments with Lisa, as its not only "me time" as a busy full-time working mum but also to catch up with lovely Lisa and have a laugh.

Stacey is such a lovely person and creates such a warm, welcoming, de-stressing atmosphere to really ensure you can relax during appointments. I really love the way she does my eyebrows, they always look AMAZING! Will never go anywhere else for my brows. I always leave feeling super happy with them and love our wee catch-ups during my appointment. Couldn't recommend anyone more!

Absolutely loved getting my manicure from Abby today! There is not a single person at CBD that I wouldn’t see for any services. Today I went simple with one colour and I haven’t done that in ages but it feels so bright and fresh. Another 10/10 experience

Best nail salon in Edinburgh. Range of colours is fantastic and all the technicians are really highly skilled. Nail art or other creative finishes are all available. I would highly recommend Salon Magnetic.
