Very professional, patient, sweet, kids friendly and her hand is a masterpiece. NEAT isn’t even the word to describe how she did my daughter’s hair. I Would recommend anyone to her. Her salon is clean and fresh. Complimentary snacks, drinks and sweets.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting my hair done by both Telmo and Silvia at The Art Room Astoria, and every visit has been such a great experience. They are incredibly talented, kind, and really take the time to make sure you leave happy with your hair. Sharifa provides a five-star experience EVERY single time! Her wash experience is like therapy for your hair. The amount of TLC that she pours into my hair as well as my children's hair is very evident. Our hair looks and feels healthy. Her styles never disappoint; we get nonstop compliments everywhere we go. She offers great advice on the best cut or hair color, and most importantly, she takes the time to listen to exactly what you want. Giulia is very professional and knows what she’s doing. Before cutting my hair she consulted with me my needs and what could possibly help with what I am looking for. Honestly, I love my hair! It was my first time here, and my hair was pretty damaged, but she completely brought my vision to life. It feels so much smoother now, and she gave me great tips on how to maintain it. Everyone was so lovely, and the whole experience truly lifted my mood. So happy I came in!

Giulia is an excellent stylist and a wonderful person! She makes the whole experience a special occasion and her attention to detail is touching. This was my first visit for root color touch up & blow out & it could not have been more perfect! I was so impressed with Giulia’s knowledge & expertise. She listened carefully & made suggestions which I followed. Of the 3 clients there (me being 1 of them) she created 3 unique looks on all of us.
