I’m always happy with my blow wave here! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and no matter who does your hair, they consistently deliver an amazing result. It’s such a welcoming environment, and you can really trust the team to take great care of you. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Blowout Bar Toorak to anyone!

One of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. I walked in and instantly Elaine made me feel so welcome and asked all the right questions which helped me explain what I wanted. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Melbourne! Thankyou for helping me feel beautiful again!

My first time at platonic - Danny was brilliant explained the process and as the treatment and appointment progressed checked in with me - nothing unexpected and totally relaxed. Loved the outcome my hair feels amazing cut brilliant and will be back! Great comments!

I had my hair done by Capone last weekend. He did an absolutely godly job on my very grown-out balayage. The colour is perfect, much lighter (but still so natural) than I thought would be able to be achieved. The cut was perfect and Capone listened to what I wanted and kept the length but neatened up the layers. I am very picky with my hairdressers and that's why I hadn't had any maintenance done in ages, but Capone made me have faith again. The salon is also beautiful and relaxing, the products smelled wonderful and the ambiance is really chill. I'll be back for my upkeep for sure.

OMG!! BETHANY IS AN ABSOLUTE MAGICIAN!!I walked in with dark regrowth, damaged and overprocessed blonde hair that I honestly thought was beyond saving... and I walked out COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS... First of all, Bethany's energy is incredible. She's so warm, confident, and passionate!! You can instantly tell you're in the hands of a true professional who genuinely knows exactly what she's doing. I couldn't believe she was able to achieve THIS result with the condition my hair was in. I'm honestly amazed... even emotional!! Thank YOU!!

Wow. Not only did Sam do an outstanding job with cutting my and my son’s hair, he was also such a great, friendly and lovely guy. He knew what we wanted better than we did. I even ended up getting some colour in to blend in my greys and knock back the white, which I’d been wanting to do but didn’t want to look like Joe Pesci- it looks fantastic and natural and my wife said I look like my old self. Really great experience, we’ll be back!

I had some important meetings coming up and wanted my hair to look its absolute best. Without hesitation, I booked a blow dry with Elaine—and I couldn’t be happier. It lasted for days, and gave me that extra boost of confidence. Elaine is my go-to for a reason: her styling is consistently beautiful, and she just gets it.

The actual hair cut and consultation was great. I was disappointed that no one acknowledged my arrival for 15 minutes and then Jenny said I’ll just clean up my chair. She then went and washed and rinsed the other hairdressers hair before she called me over.

Andi was great with my hair, which is very curly and frizzy. This was the first time I got a dry cut but he was confident and knew what he was doing. I was happy with the result. I also got a colour done and loved the massage and warm towel ritual after my hair wash. Will definitely be back!

Lia is an amazing cutter/stylist. She listens , highly competent and always delivers a service that Îm 100% happy with. I went 9 months between cuts and people still commented on my hair - a sign of a great cut!!!
