I went to Art Room for the first time today and had double process root maintenance with Sandra. She did such an amazing job! She did exactly what I asked for and could not have been more pleased! The salon itself is clean, cozy and stylish. Sandra and her assistant was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Never knew how bad I needed to come here until I did. Can’t go back to my barber anymore. What exceptional service. The individuals here take great care of you. If you’re thinking of getting a massage, don’t think about it, just do it! And as for a haircut - I came in with my hair having no shape, minimal volume, no umph. Thanks to Silvia’s attention to detail and time, I’m leaving more than happy with my new style. Thank you again.

The most amazing hair salon. I have a hair pulling OCD disorder & i came here to for a haircut to try and fix the issue. Sandra did a phenomenal job with my haircut & can confidently say my hair is finally growing back nicely.

Absolutely love Art Room Spa! The salon has such a positive, welcoming vibe; full of plants, laughter, and great energy. It truly feels like a little oasis. My stylist Sandra is amazing. She knows my hair so well and always puts its health first. I’ve never left unhappy; she’s honest, thoughtful, and always on point with her recommendations. I’ve been to many salons in Manhattan and Queens, and this one really stands out. Highly recommend!

My experience at Art Room was lovely! Ena did a great job with my haircut and adjusted what I showed her to suit my face very well. Everyone in the salon was very friendly and the overall service was great!

The staff and space were nice. DO NOT book a curly hair appointment if your hair is wavy/curly, get the regular haircut. Mine is between wavy and curly, I booked a curly cut. The layers and shaping are great, but the styling looked AWFUL because my hair didn't curl enough. It was huge and frizzy but didn't bring out a curl pattern the way I had hoped. I asked the stylist about it but she didn't show me how to shape them with the extra time left in the hour. I would try a regular haircut here but not the curly haircut again.

Nancy did an incredible job and created exactly the cut I wanted - she did great with the layering and it frames my face so well. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was great, will definitely come back!

I had an amazing experience here! I am a guy with curly hair, between an 2 and 3A, so I’ve had A LOT of bad haircuts. This is the best cut I’ve had in YEARS! Even when I ask for a diva cut, stylists always give me a generic men’s cut when I go short, so I never do. NOT Sandra! Even though I went with a shorter length (and had worn a hat all day), she took her time to cut my curls individually and made sure they all came through. I almost always walk out of the salon disappointed and put off getting a trim for as long as possible but today I am already looking forward to seeing her again!

I had a great experience! Nancy was wonderful and worked with my to figure out how I could achieve my desired look with the type of hair I have. And it came out great! I would definitely recommend her, she’s very talented! Amy washed my hair and was also fantastic. She gave me a very nice scalp massage

The older stylist was nice but needs to tone it down when using hair styling tools and when dealing with ethnic hair. Our scalps can burn with excess heat!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon!! From the second you walk in you’re treated like family and made to feel so comfortable. I got my hair cut and colored by Ena and she was AMAZING!! She was so kind and thoughtful when doing my hair checking in with me along the way making sure I was good! I wasn’t totally sure the color I wanted and Ena worked with me to find the PERFECT natural look while still making sure It was noticeable! Silvana also helped with coloring and washing my hair, she was so kind and comforting along the way! Amazing experience I can’t wait to go back!
