I travel for 45 minutes to visit this salon and it’s well worth the trip for the service I receive.

First time at Redhed and so happy with my colour. Lola is so lovely, and really took on board what I wanted for my end result. The atmosphere of the salon is also great, with the added comfort of Betty, the dog, sitting with me throughout. Would definitely recommend! Thank you.

First time here, I had walked in to see if they had space and they booked me straight in for later in the day. On arrival the gentleman on the desk (I didn’t catch his name) was so accommodating and checked if I would like refreshments throughout. Lola was great, she listened tentatively about my hair and asked about taking before and after pics. She spent over an hour sorting my hair and it turned out great! I’ve had bad experiences in the past at salons but next time I’m in Folkestone I will be returning to redhed.

Sarah is amazing- she took the time to understand my hair and what I am aiming to achieve and worked out (colourwise) how we can get there without damaging my hair. The customer service and the way the team look after clients is great and super professional- something that is rarely seen in other salons in Folkestone.

As a serial haircut avoider, I hadn’t had my haircut for 2+ years. Upon recommendation, I booked in with Allanah and had the best experience. It was refreshing to be asked about my hair and my normal routine - with a focus on the end result being something that I was not only happy with, but also fit into my day to day. It felt like getting together with a group of friends, and the hour flew by. A relaxed atmosphere, super cute pups included - and I (haircut avoider) booked in ahead in 8 weeks time - that alone deserves a 5star rating. This gem of a salon is bound to become a Folkestone Fave x

As a longtime Redhed client from London, it was lovely to visit the Folkestone salon which is gorgeous. The team were so welcoming and l was very well looked after, including having a fantastic Kerasilk treatment. Also great to explore Folkestone while l was here.

My 4th visit to redhed in Folkestone, it’s a really beautiful salon, friendly and very professional team - they really are hair specialists using the latest products, techniques and tech - the wash basins are a real treat, my neck has never been more comfortable - wonderful atmosphere you can choose from a glass of wine, a freshly made herbal teas or coffees, chilled filtered water. They also recycle EVERYTHING , have solar panels on the roof and you can refill your shampoo et . Most importantly my hair looks amazing xxx

Sarah is a master at what she does. Best cuts I ever had, she knows how to work with curls and finds the perfect cut for the season I‘m in. It’s a joy watching her work, and talking to her. Lola is always amazing with my hair, we work together to decide what I’m going to go for next, and she gives great advice and my hair always looks amazing. She takes so much care over the cutting, colour mix selection for my highlights, the styling, to get it just right.
