Tasha is an amazing hair stylist she is efficient, friendly, courteous and very very professional. Whenever she does my hair she treats it as if she is doing her own hair. I’m always welcomed with a smile, no waiting around which is fantastic. If I book an appointment for 2pm this is the exact time Tasha will start doing my hair. The coffee is amazing and I love the banter. I also feel I leave the studio learning something new. Best salon in Manchester!! Thanks Tasha

This was my first visit to CGH. The greeting at the door was warm and welcoming. Liv was great. Really helpful about my haircut. I have short hair and like a strong cut. She was very positive about the natural wave and asked questions, as she looked at and felt my hair, to hear what I wanted. She has cut with wave, which I really like, so I Ieft the salon with a new shape to my hair cut. I'm very pleased and have booked a second appointment.

Paige did my butterfly cut and blowdry just before I flew out to Dubai and I honestly couldn’t be happier. She was extremely welcoming from the moment I walked in and made me feel so comfortable. Her work is amazing, the cut and hairstyle were absolutely fab and exactly what I wanted. She knew exactly what she was doing and her confidence really showed. On top of that, she was so friendly and chatty which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m back in Manchester. Highly recommend!

Simple wash and braid but was unique and suited my every need for my worn out type 4c hair… I promise no one has ever undone my old cornrows the way Princess did and there was so little hair lose, I have a natural type 4c hair. Thanks Princess, we’re def doing this again!

Got recommended to Dawud by Alfie (who’s been looking after me back home), and safe to say the man delivered. Super clean trim, attention to detail was spot on, and the vibe in the chair was proper chilled. He really took the time to understand the look I’m going for and absolutely nailed it first go. Big shoutout to Alfie for the link! Dawud’s definitely my new go to up in Manchester 🐐

I had an amazing time at SJ Salon today with Staci. I had extensions fitted and my roots and hair coloured. Staci matched the extensions with my colour and fitted them perfectly. She’s obviously the “Extension Guru “of Manchester. I’ve had at least 4 ladies complimenting when i left the salon admiring my new hair do. Thank you Staci I’m so very happy with my beautiful hair. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Hair Studio. Tasha was so attentive and is very experienced with hairdressing! My natural Afro hair was in a bad state when I visited the salon (tangled and thirsty) but after adding some tailor made treatment to my hair, trimming and blow drying it was shiny and bouncy. I can’t wait for my next appointment. I also got some great hair care tips! Thank you so much!

I absolutely loved my experience here ! I have found my new place for braiding in Ashton. The hairdresser is so lovely, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I had a wash, blow dry and neat flat cornrows for my wig applications. The wash felt like a beautiful head massage, I loved it. The cornrows were done so quickly, they are so neat and gorgeous. She gave me some great after care and advice. I’ll be booking in regularly to look after my natural hair and I’ll be bringing my daughter here too. Thank you so much !! Xx

The best blow dry in all of Manchester, I've followed Staci around the South Trafford area for years and couldn't be more thrilled she now has her own eponymous salon. SJ Salon is welcoming, friendly and fun and you can be guaranteed the best of attention and highest level of skill and knowledge everytime!
