I recently had the pleasure of visiting Melanie at Pixal Rose for a complete hair restyle, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. This was my first appointment with Gemma after a consultation in the summer. I had a Crown Treatment with a cut and I left the salon feeling 100% satisfied. Gemma was really attentive to my hair, brilliant at explaining every step of the process and took time when styling to listen and offer tips on how I can maintain and replicate the style at home. I have booked my next appointment already. I would definitely recommend Gemma to other people with curly, textured and/or afro hair.

I can't say enough good things about my experience! Finding a stylist who truly understands curly hair can be tough, but this appointment was a game-changer. Gemma was knowledgeable about curl patterns, took the time to shape my curls in a way that suits my face and really put me at ease as I hadn’t had my hair cut professionally in years! My curls have never looked or felt better—defined, bouncy, and healthy. I finally feel like my hair is being cared for the way it deserves. Highly recommend for anyone with curls!

I have been struggling with anxiety and Mel has gone above and beyond to make sure I feel safe and comfortable in the salon. It was my first curly cut and I cannot believe the difference. My hair feels fuller, healthier and the curls she’s managed to produce are something of dreams. I cannot thank you enough for your patience and kind words of support.
