I have been coming to Saya for over a decade. I have had a lot of different styles over the years and she has always been happy to try new things and get it just right. The salon is so relaxing and everyone working there are supper friendly. Can’t recommend enough.

Myself and my son have been hitting up 1916 the barbershop for a fresh fade and a cut, for about 4 months now. Angelo is a master barber. And is always on point with every cut. Highly recommend barber for the northern suburbs and the thornbury area.

the salon was absolutely beautiful along with the two stylists who did my hair. they may still be emerging but their attention to detail and skills were incredible. not to mention the service from every single person was amazing. thank you for making my hair flawless Daniel, I can't wait to show it off at the footy tonight ! I recently also had a wash and blow-dry with Layla, an evolving stylist at the salon, and I was blown away. My hair feels incredibly smooth with the perfect soft wave at the ends. She was so gentle and careful with my hair — no pulling or tugging at all. Such a beautiful result.

Lili was amazing. I wanted to bring my curls back after a long time of doing keratin treatments to keep my hair straight. She was so kind and gave me a great cut that restored my curls and volume. She also applied a treatment and recommended some lovely products to help me continue this process at home. I’m so happy to have my curly hair back. thank you, Lili!

Toni is the best blonde hairdresser in Melbourne. I have been getting foils and highlighting my blonde hair for over 15 years, and have tried several Hair Salons including the major chains. No one has achieved a better blonde for my hair than Toni - she is a true artist and understands how to properly take care of highlighted hair. She’s also awesome to hang out with for a few hours while getting your hair done! Can’t recommend her enough.

It is always great having my haircut by Yoshie! She is an excellent stylist, and fun to talk with too! She is warm and friendly, and if I were to suggest a style or a "quantity" of hair to cut that she thinks I *won"t* be happy with, she will (kindly) let me know! I definitely trust her!
