I spotted this salon while walking around the area a few days ago and booked an appointment to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Haru had just moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong after working in Tokyo and Osaka. He was incredibly stylish, skilled, patient, and paid great attention to detail. Absolutely loved my blow wave here! The team was so lovely and welcoming, and my stylist did an amazing job — soft, bouncy, and it lasted all day (even with Melbourne’s weather!). My hair stylist was very professional and great at listening to my needs. His highly skilled techniques plus the use of quality products resulted in a fantastic hair cut, blow wave and colour for under $200. I liked the way he also applied a complimentary hydrating hair product after rinsing the colour resulting silky smooth hair. I also loved the cappuccino even though it was served in a disposable cup. Excellent value for inner Melbourne.

The make up removal and cleaning step needs improvement. The final step of applying cream needs to be a bit more, it was very little cream applied to my face, and not covering the eye area.

The fact that all of Melbourne has yet to discover the genius & artistry of Chetan at Vision Blonde blows my mind. He rescued my hair from dullness, transforming once-shabby hues of gold, yellow & a hacked at mixed length mess into a bright white modern delight. I am thrilled & haven't had a haircut so right & so powderpuff white in years. I could pass for a snowball, but the shape is way more detailed & nuanced, so my facial structure pops. The colour is jaw-dropping; so hard to achieve, & the cut is flawless. This is a very talented diamond. Go see it sparkle. You'll be so glad you did.

Sammy has so much knowledge in her field and her consults are incredibly informative and educational. She has a personable approach and will help guide you on your skin needs rather than using a quick fix solution. Sammy is my go-to gal for anything skin related whether it be chemical peels or injectables. She is ahead of her time in Melbourne, using fabulous Korean skincare techniques and products. Evin is the best colourist I've tried in Melbourne and I've tried MANY. I like my blonde highlights to look natural and blended. Somehow many others have struggled with that, making it look streaky, bulky and old fashioned. Evon works strand by strand (almost literally), the amount of care and time she puts into it, it looks like I have natural sunkissed hair. People have even commented that they thought it was my own colour. It grows out so natural without harsh lines, again, because she perfects the colour of the highlight to best match my ash blonde hair and olive skin. It's truly art.

Best hairdresser in Melbourne!! Jay is an absolute delight and his skills are off the charts. He never tries to ‘sell’ unnecessary treatments and gives wonderful advice re styling & colour. I live in the UK, but always come back to Jay and Claire when in the City for my 3 month stays. Highly recommend.
