No one has ever suggested getting darker and closer to my natural colour. Decided to stop highlights and get toner down and love it so far thanks for your advise

I have been getting my hair cut at Outline by Kay for a couple years now, I have curly/ wavy texture and have found it a real struggle to find a hairdresser that understands how to cut curls without using a million products and styling methods. Kay is absolutely fantastic, she really listens to what you're looking for and asks questions, she's interested in what you want rather than trying to quickly assume. And my hair has never been happier! For as long as I live in Edinburgh I won't go anywhere else - I couldn't recommend Outline or Kay more.

My hair stylist is very experienced, and she listened to me patiently to understand what’s my preference. She used three different brown just to show a natural gradient for my highlight colour. Defo recommend and will come back again :)

Just amazing! I always leave my appointments feeling so great, with exactly what I’ve asked for (usually even better than what Ive asked for thanks to Louise’s advice/recommendations!) The balayage/balayage refresh is done so well, and allows me the low maintenance hair colouring I love - my hair always feels so much healthier, even after colour treatment. Louise really knows what she’s doing and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Kieran has great skills, very professional and keen eye for detail. At £22 for mens hair, which includes pre hair wash and coffee and lovely treatment...I think this must be the best value professional quality hairdresser in Edinburgh

My first haircut in Edinburgh - and Aileen was just fabulous! As a blonde long hair girlie with thick (and frankly just a lot of) hair it’s always hard to find a new hair artist. She understood immediately what I wanted (also discussed colour for a future appointment) and I’m so happy with the cut. Everyone in the salon was so friendly as well. I’m more than excited to return for a bit of a colour change! See you soon 🙂🙂

Amazing just amazing! Brooke is the best hairdresser ever she is quick, efficient, understands just what you want, and has amazing attention to detail. There has never been a time where I’ve been frustrated or didn’t like the work she has done, and she always advices me the best way she can about hairstyles. She’s just out of this world and if I ever move from Edinburgh I’ll have to come back every once in a while to get my hair done.

Kym was so lovely and welcoming. I was late and she was more than accommodating. I’m new to Edinburgh and so went in blind but couldn’t have picked a better hairdresser! Absolute bargain for what she did as well! Love my hair colour, lightened it right up and managed to sort it all without a toner too! Thank you✨

I’ve struggled to find somewhere in Edinburgh that can properly cut a medium length haircut (men’s). Chris listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

Just had a beautiful colour correction/transformation done and I’m impressed. I went in with grey roots and yellowing brassy DIY blond colour and left with a gorgeous natural looking sandy beige blond. Exactly what I wanted. Attention to detail and thoughtful advice, a beautiful experience. I have already booked my next colouring appointment and looking forward to it. Highlight recommend. Eugenia

I have been seeing Ava for over a year now--I always look forward to my appointments with her, and today was no exception! For my second-ever balayage, going for a more natural look, I put my complete trust in her expertise and it resulted in gorgeous, fitting blonde highlights. I have very curly hair, and Ava diffused it to a voluminous bouncy finish. Looking forward to continuing to work with her towards growing my hair out to its maximum length and curliness!
