Very welcoming, but professional. I had a mani and pedi done, just regular polish. Had a few events that evening & next day I wanted my nails done for. Plus a wedding 3 days later, I mentioned aware the polish will probably need redoing as I tend to chip my nails. Well, my mani not only lasted perfectly for the wedding, but only started to chip 5 days later! Amazing with regular polish. So she did great work, quality products. And her pedicures do not overbuff your calluses. I have had pedis at other salons and my feet were tender afterwards.

My experience with Bree was so amazing! Since moving to Ottawa in January I hadn’t been able to find a stylist who I could trust. I am very picky about my hair and Bree killed it! I am so happy with the result. The salon was beautiful and clean!

It was my first time at this salon as I live in the east end of Ottawa and stubbled across this salon by chance. The staff were nothing short of excellent and were very professional. The attention to detail was fantastic, the women would not let anything short of perfect pass. I had received a mani/pedi as well as a waxing service during my visit and the level of skill exuded by each technician was remarkable. I will absolutely be making the trip across the city to visit this salon from now on, this was the first time in ages I had been in awe at my nails!

I have neverrrr had a shellac manicure last this long without peeling/chipping. The polish is only now (17 days later) starting to crack (but only just a little) and my nails are still super shiny. If it wasn't for how quickly my nails grow, I would probably have another week before needing to make any touch ups. Thank you Daphney for the great mani!!

This was my first visit to Fika. I have been looking for a full service spot since we moved to Ottawa last year. Today I had a hair consultation, the staff listened, asked questions and really appeared to understand what I am looking for. I also had a pedicure with paraffin and shellac- the experience was perfect! The experience was relaxed, friendly and thorough. Not only do my toes look adorable, my feet and calves feel less tense! I am picky with my feet, and I am so thrilled to have found my new regular spot!

Shannon is amazing! My hair is always impeccable and gets all the compliments. The vibes at Fika are always so welcoming and even the clientele are fun and chatty! 100% the best salon in Ottawa.

Always enjoy my time at this salon. My wax was quick and professional. I have regular gel manicures with Helen who does an amazing job every time. My nails are always perfectly shaped and built and meticulously painted. They often last over a month before refill. Happy to have Sweetling as my go-to salon!

As usual Fiona did a wonderful job of my manicure. One thing that she has no control over is the quality of clear nail polish. It was not good compared to the "Seche Clear" you used to use. My nails became very brittle with your brand and broke one after the other. I will do my own nails at home using my own "Seche Clear" in the future. The last few appointments I took my own nail polish for Fiona to use but forgot it this time. No comparison as far as the long term result goes.

Sam did the most adorable nails for my daughter. She was very conscious of lenght and shape to ensure they last without issue, and designed exactly what she wanted; flowers and duck art! She's the happiest and have a bunch of her friends interested now. :)
