I’ve been coming to Hair by Hong, Oakleigh for over a year now and this is the only salon I come to while living in Melbourne. I have pretty thin Asian-style hair and I personally feel this is the only place who understands how to handle and cut my hair to my style/taste! My hairstylist is Bella, and she is amazing, always knows what I need! My experience has always been fantastic- from the front of house greetings, hair washed, and cut. It has been nothing short of professional and I always feel welcome. Such a friendly, comfortable, chic, & professional ambience and team!

I always come here to get haircut and never disappointed. Best place so far in melbourne whenever i wanna get a new haircut. Also everyone works here is so nice and friendly, i feel very comfortable and welcome with the staff. Highly recommended!!!

I’ve been here a few times now, and every visit has been fantastic. Zero is very professional, always knows what style suits me best, and gives great advice. I also love that he genuinely cares about the health of my hair and takes great care of it. I always leave happy with the results. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this salon, one of the best haircuts I have gotten in Melbourne. Yujin was an amazing stylist, took great care of my hair and replicated the same style as the photo !! Will definitely be going back.

I had such a great experience with Vivian. She is incredibly kind, professional, and really takes the time to do her work thoroughly. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and pays attention to every detail to make sure everything is done perfectly. I had the most wonderful haircut experience! The hair salon is modern and bright yet cosy, and the service and skill of the staff are amazing. The receptionist made me feel welcome with a friendly smile and made the registration process really smooth. Dabin, the hairdresser i was assigned to, was very professional yet easygoing during the discussion for the haircut. He asked clear questions about how i would like my hair to look like and gave helpful suggestions for styling in the end. He was very attentive to detail during the cut and it was obvious how skillful he is. It turned out perfect!

I couldn't be happier with my hair! This was my first time at this hair salon. I had found them through a google search and looked at the good reviews that this place got. Dabin did an amazing job with my hair. I have very dry, frizzy and damaged hair and I wanted a new style with waves with some volume. Dabin recommended a special perm and treatment. It turned out really well. I was so nervous to try this place but I was in great hands! Thank you so much for the wonderful result!
