I had my first ever curly cut with Meg today and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely at ease and took the time to explain everything about my hair, curls and routine. Her knowledge is incredible and it’s so clear how passionate she is about helping people embrace their natural curls. I genuinely can’t believe the transformation after just one appointment – my curls have never looked so defined, healthy or full of life. Thank you Meg!!

Absolutely amazing!! Megan was so warm and welcoming and took the time to really understand my curl routine and give me recommendations for my hair type and goals. She was meticulous with my dry cut & gave me a fresh new style but stayed conservative so if my curls shrank it was still low risk. Megan was also the first curly hairdresser that diffused my hair where I actually liked it. No crunchy curls in sight. It was the first time ever leaving a salon happy with my curls and she is first the hairdresser other than me to do my curls where I haven’t hated it. Would recommend her to anyone!

This was my very first curl cut, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than with Megan! She made me feel comfortable right away, took time to understand my curls, and explained every step. Her attention to detail is incredible — every curl was shaped with care, and my texture feels alive, defined, and effortless. I had the loveliest time at Wilderness today! I was quite nervous about finding a new hair salon after moving back to Liverpool because I have sensory issues, and I generally find having my hair cut to be a stressful situation, but everyone at Wilderness made me feel so welcome and Alison was incredibly understanding and enthusiastic about helping me feel comfortable - I'll definitely be returning! :)

So like many women I have tried out a lot of hair salons over the years. Moved to Liverpool a few years back and just was never 100% happy with my hair. Then I stumbled upon Louise the genuine hair witch three years ago.. I have never looked back. Her salon and ethos is amazing. The sheer knowledge this woman has is mind blowing. She truly listens to her clients and works with them creating amazing hair, while using products that are safe, sustainable and transformative. This review is clearly well over due, I would highly recommend Louise and her team of amazing hair wizards. x

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the best curl experience I’ve ever had! Meg really took the time to listen to what I wanted and needed, and my curls have never looked or felt better easily the best curl cut of my life. I didn’t know what to expect from the Indian head massage, but wow it was incredible! So relaxing and gentle, and now I honestly never want my hair washed any other way. The whole ritual felt so thoughtful and luxurious, and I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and completely in love with my curls. Can’t recommend this enough an absolute treat for both hair and soul!

I'm absolutely blown away by my experience with Meg today. I've straightened the life out of my hair for 30+ years. 3 months ago, I decided enough is enough! Time to embrace my curls and learn to love them! I only wish my appointment had been sooner.....I learned so much about my hair in 1.5 hours and could have saved a fortune on curly hair products had I known what I know now! Meg really put me at ease straight from the off! I had loads of questions....she answered them all and was so knowledgeable. I'm on this journey now and I'm hoping Meg will guide me all the way! 100% recommend 💜

Had my first ever curly cut today with David and I'm absolutely made up! He was incredibly patient and explained everything he was doing step by step, I left not only loving my hair but feeling super confident about tackling it properly at home as well. I’m so pleased with my haircut today by David. He really knows how to treat and style curls and is so knowledgeable about curly hair. It’s always a gamble when you try somewhere new for a curly cut but I couldn’t be happier! My hair is now looking healthy and bouncy and has some much needed shape. I’m so glad to have found this salon. All the staff were really friendly too. David was just amazing, so talented and a lovely guy. I will 100% be returning.

I had my first curly cut with Meg at House of Darlins – The Curl Station in Liverpool and it was incredible! Meg is so knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. The salon is beautiful and welcoming. I also had the holistic head spa — the oils, tools, music, and treatments created a full sensory, relaxing experience. First appointment with Meg, will definitely be back! She took the time to listen, get to know me and my hair, and instantly understood what was needed to get it into shape. She talked me through what she recommended, and the cut is perfect. The salon location's perfect for a day out in beautiful Liverpool, Meg was so welcoming and friendly, the whole experience delightful!

Brilliant. Louise is so helpful and really knows how to cut curly hair. I had a calligraphy cut with a special cutting tool. Wow! She said it would give me more bounce and boy did it! I felt like Farrah Fawcett walking along the street. She really knows how to make the most of my curls. Thanks Louise

First time at Henry Street Collective and having my curly cut by David. A great relaxing environment, with David listening to what I wanted,and giving my curls the attention they needed!, with some extra hints and tips thrown in to manage my curls on a daily basis. Really happy with the end result, will definitely be back.

Today was my second visit for a curl cut, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. Today I also had a heat hat and treatment (amazing!) After my first appointment, my curls were so much easier to manage and needed far less effort to style. The cut really worked with my natural texture, and made a huge difference in my daily routine. Megan is so friendly and clearly enthusiastic about curls! I learnt how to style my curls properly, how to choose the right products for my hair type, and apply them the right way. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get the most out of their curls!

I made the the mistake of going to someone cheaper for my hair cut and ended up rushing back to Lou to fix my curls. She transformed my flat, boxy layers and gave me volume whilst maintaining my length, which is exactly what I asked for!! I feel like my hair has so much more movement and shape, I’m so happy with it. Lou, you’re the curl whisperer.

Meg is absolutely amazing! She has been doing my daughter’s since May 2025 & we have never looked back. Not only does Meg cut my daughter hair amazingly, she has taught her about her curl pattern, what products work better for her hair type, how to style it & have the confidence to own her curls. Meg has created a warm, friendly & relaxed environment & my daughter looks forward to her appointments. Every curly haired girl needs a Meg!
