I would recommend Rich especially if you have curly hair. I'm extremely pleased with my haircut and his explanation of the physical complexities of what makes hair curly and how to keep it healthy. I've been growing it for over a year now and now we are concentrating on it's healthy bounce!

Absolutely recommend. I have very thick, long, wavy hair that takes a lot of patience, and salons often underestimate how much time my hair needs. Alice assesses individual hair needs so my cut and colour was not rushed and came out perfectly. It's great to find someone who is experienced with curly and wavy hair. I also love the organic and natural products, and green ethos of the salon. Love my hair and looking forward to coming back!

I’ve been going to Alice for a few years now and will harp on about what a magician she is with curly hair to anyone who will listen. Today though I’ve had a complete restyle and she has outdone herself! She took my ideas and tailored them exactly to what would suit me and it’s even better than I imagined. She is always so passionate about making your cut as unique as you. I’m a client for life!

Took advantage of Alice's January colour sale. My hair being white grey - I didn't think much could be done with it unless I Changed colour completely, but No, Alice worked her magic and I am so so happy with the result. She only went and enhanced my natural colour (white/grey) and it looks fabulous. The cut she does is always on point and exactly what I want. Very happy indeedy

I feel a fraud for reviewing Alive at every visit but honestly she just deserves it. She has seen me from dyed black to embracing my natural grey with such ease and no awkward embarrassing moments in between. I cannot tell you how many people I meet who compliment me on my hair and in particular the cut. Alice is just blinking brilliant and I count myself very lucky that she is my hairdresser!!

Lovely haircut as always by Rich and always taken good care of by the fabulous Maverick team! Recently had a nano keratin hair straightening done here too by Emily and cannot rate this treatment enough. Frizzy, big hair to sleek locks that are now east to manage and don’t frizz up in the damp weather! ❤️

Always a dream visiting Alice. Listens to exactly what you want, advises what can be done with your hair type and sets the expectation so you’re not disappointed if you don’t look exactly ‘like the picture’ and always does an amazing cut.
