It’s my first time at The Knott and honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. An amazing haircut, and the best experience. Mary Ann was so kind and chatty and talked me through everything, I’m going back to lighten my hair next week and she made the process so easy and a joy. Couldn’t recommend enough!! If you’re in Folkestone and you need anything doing to your hair, this is the place to go!

I’ve had a lot of mixed experiences getting my curly hair cut, but this was by far one of the best. Kerry clearly understands how curls work. It was a well thought out cut that works for my texture. My hair has a new lease of life! Thank you Kerry!

As usual Kerry put her magic to work and my daughter's hair looks amazing - she managed to do what she wanted, and also do what was sorely needed for her curly hair - a curly cut to enhance her natural curls! Very happy!

I felt really welcomed into the hair studio and Hayley knew exactly what to do with my hair straight away. I needed to be told what to do with it as I never know and have never had a cut I’ve particularly liked before. The cut really suits me and my hair feels great, it’s exactly what I wanted, even though I didn’t know it. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on, and I’m so happy Hayley is setting up her own business in the centre of Folkestone!

I came in after having a bit of a colour disaster at another salon. Kerry understood the assignment and gave me the cut and colour of my dreams! It was the first time a stylist has ever given me a cut to suit my natural texture and dried it appropriately. A faultless experience!

I love having my hair done here. Hayley was the first hairdresser I met who worked seriously with curly hair. It’s been a great journey. And getting my hair washed, shampooed and scalp massaged is always incredible. Today was amazing

It's my first time coming to the Knott and I loved my experience. From my first consultation, I was put at ease, I have curly hair and for the first time ever really wanted it to be cut by someone that understood what my hair needed. Instantly I felt that they knew what they were talking about and put my trust in them to know what to do to my hair. My trust definitely wasn't miss placed as I have left with an amazing new haircut which is perfect for my curly hair, it's never felt healthier (especially after a bleach!) and the colour has expertly been done to really reflect the curls. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. I am in town for a wedding and needed pre bridesmaid hair and I wish it was my local hairdresser. My extremely curly hair is soft, straight and smooth and the atmosphere of the salon is welcoming and inviting and homely. If I’m in Kent again, I will definitely be back!

I had a great experience. Kerry is amazing and does such a great job. She manages to blend my gray hair with a blond so well and I leave feeling like I look years younger! I highly recommend her and she also did an incredible job for my mother's transformation from dark brunette to her natural silver - a process that took months, but she knew what she was doing and had been recommended by another hairdresser as being an expert on color. Fabulous results! :)
