This kids’ salon is amazing! The environment is very pleasant, clean, and welcoming for children. Ella is wonderful — she is kind, patient, and very attentive with the kids. My child felt comfortable and happy the whole time. Highly recommend!

I took both of my kids to Hair Tec for a cut and colour. The experience was the best my boys have had, and their stylist - Colleen - is amazing. I will be taking my boys back regularly and will probably be booking an appointment for myself very soon!

We love coming to Hair Tropics for our girls haircuts. They are so friendly and considerate and take the time to listen to both parents and children about what they want. They have a great set up for kids of all ages! We will be customers for a long time!

Great experience at Mister Barber on Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary. Mark, the owner and barber, provides outstanding personalized service without the sometimes fake decorum of the larger barber chains—all at a very reasonable price. What really impressed me was the attention to detail: he even timed my haircut to fit perfectly with my next appointment. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Cowboy Town!

We had our child's birthday party here and got the princess package. The kids loved getting their hair do's and manicures, they looked awesome. We ordered food through them and it arrived just on time and the kids liked having their choice for dinner. The staff was great with the kids and came up with games and activities when there was down time. I highly recommend this place.

This was our kids first ever hair cut and it was done by Ms.Uma. She truly has magic hands. We were anticipating atleast 45 minutes with our 2 and half year old, but the hair cut was done in 20 minutes. The way she made sure that the kid felt comfortable was amazing.

This is our daughter’s second haircut session with Ella, who is always very welcoming and accommodating. She offers great recommendations on hairstyles that would suit our little lady, making our daughter feel comfortable. The salon has a warm and cozy ambiance that all kids would love. We have taken our three grandsons to Miss Zahra several times now. She is always on time, friendly, professional and interacts with kids in a fun and kind way. She always gives them great haircuts too. Our boys just love her!

I am, and always am incredibly happy with the customer experience had here. My son got his first hair cut which made my mom heart cry a little and I was nervous and wouldn't stop talking but Kaitlyn was so kind and reassuring and wonderful with my toddler. The princess sparkles after my daughter's bang trim had her elated, and she always enjoys her cuts here. Kaitlyn is also was a wealth of knowledge and we were given some really good direction on how to properly care for our children's hair. All this to say, if you have kids you should bring them here for all your hair cutting needs.

The hair dressers were vary Patient with my little girl. They communicated with me about the style of hair cut before starting, during the cut and after the cut. I really like that there is entertainment for the kids to keep focused on. I recommend this place to anyone with kids.

We have been to Hair Tropics for every haircut for my two kids (1.5 and 2.5 years old). The girls are always so sweet and entertaining for the little ones, and they put in so much effort to make them comfortable and happy. We drive all the way from the NW of the city to come here and it’s totally worth it!

Best haircut my kids have ever gotten! Brooklyn was such a pro and friendly and accommodating. She managed to make my daughter’s super thick hair way more manageable and neat. We are over the moon with the experience. The great prices also make me feel like we can come in very regularly. Love this business!

We love Kaitlyn so much! Both of boys have been seeing her for years. My eldest was very much not okay with haircuts before we came to Hair Tropics (like needing to carry him out to the car without one) and now he is a model citizen who enjoys the process! She is priceless and everyone else has always been lovely to us.
