I visited Nubian Crown in Hyde Park for a microloc retie and had a fantastic experience. I booked online using the Fresha app and had no hassles when I got to the salon. The retie was done by Zintle and co, who were both incredibly professional and fast. We finished within 3 hours. The interlocking process was painless (which is huge for me). The salon itself is clean and has a great upmarket vibe. Highly recommend it if you want your natural hair treated with care. Definitely worth the price!

Great products. Great afro treatment. Fantastic environment. My only disappointment, is that i booked an afro treatment with a style. The style I was given was twists, which i love, however the lines for the twist were not straight at all, it was a mess, i couldn't go out with that style. I was disappointed in that regard

Noir is the BEST salon for natural hair and their braiding bar is world class. Isabel and her team are professional, well-knowledged and sincere in ALL things hair. I know I’m in good hands whenever I’m at Noir.

The nail tech was so gentle and professional. My natural nails broke and she took her time with them. Really liked that!

Got beautiful feedback about how my hair has grown since my last visit and honestly that made me so happy because it was really damaged and since being back at Natural hair lounge it’s not only seating down and getting your hair done, it’s also you and your hairstylist discussing how to treat your hair better and I took that advice and applied it daily. I got my hair treated and then a gorgeous protective hairstyle done by Veronica. Absolutely loved the look and looking forward to trying new hairstyles.

I always enjoy my experience here, whether it’s with Nelisiwe or one of the other ladies. They really show care for your hair and even if you’re tender headed and a natural, you won’t feel the pain. The environment is always vibrant as well. Overall a great place for all the natural hair girls because the ladies are knowledgeable and qualified in handling it with the care and sensitivity natural hair needs

I took my daughter to Eli Natural for their children’s styling. They gave her a moisture treatment and styled her hair in an updo very well. True to their word, this didn’t involve any blow drying, use of synthetic fibre used on her hair, or tension on her scalp. Her hair is clean, neat well done and no tears. Thank you! And thank you to Monica for her patience and for engaging with my daughter.

I’m very happy with my hair. The stylist did it exactly the way I asked and without putting too much tension on the hairline. The salon is lovely, clean and peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Only surprise was that blow dry is charged extra for braid service
