Desmond was excellent in articulating his ideas and skillset by explaining in details what he planned to do for me. The end result came perfectly as what he has shown me. I love my new hair style and will definitely come back to look for him. The only star left for improvement is the dressing table area @Dempsey may need improvement. I definitely don't like the "natural" wood finishing, it does look kinda cheap, which made me lack of confident when I stepped into the salon. The ambient @Tanglin branch at least feel a little classy. I absolutely love the extra massage after washing my hair.

I’ve been going to Jeoin since I moved to Singapore in 2023. I have very curly hair, and despite the fact that hers is naturally straight, she always cuts it like she’s a naturally curly-haired person. She listens to my wants, provides me her guidance and opinions, and then cuts away. I’ve always walked away a satisfied customer loving my new look. The salon is great and very centrally located in the Tanglin area. They offer scalp and shoulder massages and beverages, as part of their service. I would highly recommend Trimmings and Jeoin if you’re in need of a cut or new stylist.

Beyond amazing experience. My first time getting a haircut with Jayden, it will not be my last. Very detailed consultation, he listened to what i want and gave really good suggestions. Took extra time to fix my previous cut even though he had a fully booked day. I left the salon feeling so happy!

The stylists here are nice and acted politely, same as what I'm familiar with japanese-style service. Once I arrived, both stylists at the forntdesk near the door wore friendly smile and spoke English without strong local accent so that I can fully understood what they said and communicated without difficulties. Zackey, the stylist who cut my hair this evening at the salon, is a friendly and east-talking guy that made it comfortable and relaxed to get my hair cut. It's a good experience here in Halu.

My experience with Charmtress has been amazing so far! I started having alopecia around Mid March this year and only went for my first consultation and treatment on 4 May as I was still searching the best place for treatments. My hair stylist Zacky is very nice, patient and professional. Every time he asks me how I want to cut my hair. And he would discuss details with me. In the middle of cut, he would also check if the cut is OK. He always gets what I want.

Jayden and Nicole gave me the most beautiful haircut and highlight. Jayden is a pro at cutting my hair to suit my face shape. Nicole listened to what I had in mind for my hair color and the highlights she gave me are perfection. They are both excellent at listening and also at providing suggestions. Truly the best cut I’ve ever had- so much care and precision taken. The shampoo was Devine - again the attention to detail. I didn’t get a lecture about damage, up sold. I actually loved the peaceful experience just sitting quietly with nothing but the hairdryers and soft music in the background. I’ll be back and recommending to everyone I know.
