I randomly booked a hair cut and color at this salon and I was blown away! Anetta colored my hair beautifully, and Frank gave me one of my best haircuts and blow dry yet! Would definitely recommend.

Everyone at this salon is a professional. Everything Curly Hair is their specialty. I'm so grateful for the expertise. Please try the salon you will not regret it. My scalp and hair are benefiting from the shampoo, the hair massage, the conditioner and let me not forget the hairdresser. I will not allow anyone else touch my hair except for Robert, who has the magic touch. He's very talented and highly experienced with curly hair. I'm sure the other hair professionals are talented but Robert is my choice and I'm sticking with him. I've receive so many compliments for months after my haircut

Giuseppe was absolutely magic! I came in asking for highlights and a haircut he way my hair started as a bit yellow and completely fixed it. Not only was the color amazing but he made my flat hair have so much body and movement. I can’t thank Giuseppe and the team here enough!!!

Robert is fantastic—kind, knowledgeable, and a great listener. He gave me exactly the haircut and color I asked for, and even improved the color choice so it complemented my complexion beautifully. I left glowing! Everything was on schedule, and I was finished right on time. I’ll definitely be booking with him again.

Riki is a true artist. He gave me an amazing haircut. I told him exactly what I wanted and he made it even better. He's such a delight,and I feel very blessed to have him as my hairdresser.

The staff and space were nice. DO NOT book a curly hair appointment if your hair is wavy/curly, get the regular haircut. Mine is between wavy and curly, I booked a curly cut. The layers and shaping are great, but the styling looked AWFUL because my hair didn't curl enough. It was huge and frizzy but didn't bring out a curl pattern the way I had hoped. I asked the stylist about it but she didn't show me how to shape them with the extra time left in the hour. I would try a regular haircut here but not the curly haircut again.

I am a repeat customer since 2000. Have loved my coloring experiences with Michele, my haircuts with Nina and Melinda and my hair washing with Patricia. The friendliest staff overall. Always get greeted by Sergio and all the others on the team. My go-to for all my coloring, haircut and blow out needs.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon!! From the second you walk in you’re treated like family and made to feel so comfortable. I got my hair cut and colored by Ena and she was AMAZING!! She was so kind and thoughtful when doing my hair checking in with me along the way making sure I was good! I wasn’t totally sure the color I wanted and Ena worked with me to find the PERFECT natural look while still making sure It was noticeable! Silvana also helped with coloring and washing my hair, she was so kind and comforting along the way! Amazing experience I can’t wait to go back!

Kim is amazing! Most stylists don’t seem to handle natural curls well, and often suggest straightening it. Kim embraces my curls and has given me the best haircuts of my life. I am also always pleased with my color. I also want to call out Jessie from my last visit who assisted Kim that day. She really stood out and I was surprised at what a difference she made with my shampoo. Her suggestions were great.

I love my new haircut and deep conditioning treatment soften my hair. The blow out was a big transformation . My hair is soft shiny and smooth. My experience is always great!! Everyone is very friendly and extremely accommodating. I think it’s the absolute best hair salon on the upper east side !!! My hair colorist is so talented, she can do hair color, style and cut. Shakira is always a on point with everything she does, definitely a true talent aside from her friendly upbeat personality!!

This is my second time that I did my hair and I really like Jessica how she colored and cut my hair. She took her time and talked to me about how she wanted to do it if I agreed with it. I definitely come back to her as my permanent hair stylist. Thank you Jessica .

Really lovely experience. A true oasis away from the hustle and bustle of NYC streets. Simple and hip atmosphere with exposed brick and a nice playlist of Dave Brubeck jazz overhead. My stylist took his time as during the whole process - from a nourishing and extended shampoo/scalp massage - to the haircut itself. I’ll definitely be back.
